Reopen the mental hospitals closed in the 1970s! Almost every one of these shooters showed mental instability that they would have been locked up before they went on a rampage.

Whatever the cause is, its costing us a small fortune. The homeless in our area for the most part, have history with mental issues. There’s close to 300 here and that number slowly grows. In time, we can’t just lock everyone up. They have no family to help, no where to go. They can’t do simple things we take for granted. Not all are violent. They can’t hold jobs. It’s really a sad situation. I get some here believe it should be an easy solution to check off, but it’s not and only getting worse.
