The Delaware Computer Repairman sued Schiff for Saying on TV and in print that the Laptop was Russian Disinformation and the Repairman was part of a Russian Operation, and he said the Intelligence services briefed him that was the case.
Later, when the info was revealed, Schiff was never told that by any Intel briefing or by anyone.
The DoJ argued in the case that Schiff was doing his job (even though he publicly lied) and the Judge removed Schiff from the case as a defendant.
The DoJ argued in effect - Schiff’s job entailed lying (slander and defamation) and they were successful.

I agree. Today’s military especially the younger ones are not to be counted on to protect this country from enemies foreign and domestic. However on our side are a lot of vets who swore an allegiance to the US Constitution and meant it.
