Joe Biden was polling similarly going into South Carolina in 2020 and is now president. If they let Bernie win, Trump would still be president, and we would be debating over picking Trump’s successor. Wouldn’t that be nice?
The primary electorate in no way resembles the general electorate. That’s why they’ll never let one of their loony black supremacists in the CBC ever get the nomination. You’ll never see Clyburn endorsing Sheila Jackson Lee. The Democrats understand general election politics much better than our voters do and use it to their maximal advantage.

You were when you said Desantis was polling at 8% (which is a gross underexaggeration anyway). In return, I pointed out that Biden was getting clobbered in the primaries early in 2020. Maybe you already forgot.
