A smattering of demonstrators gathered outside the D.C. federal courthouse Thursday to show support for former President Trump ahead of his arraignment on charges linked to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
Dion Cini, 54, who traveled from Brooklyn, N.Y., with other protesters, said he was “really surprised” more people didn’t show up to support the former president, claiming that the Justice Department is trying to stop Trump from becoming president again.
“I want to witness the greatest travesty in American history firsthand,” Cini told The Hill. “I want to see it live with my own eyes, because I can’t believe this is actually happening.”

Watched Sky News there are a lot of protesters. I would say 90 percent are anti-Trump.

There was one hippie-looking guy eating some snack and bopping about, just now. He looked like he was at a rock concert. I have no idea why he was there, except perhaps to wind up on a camera. Looked like a complete simpleton.
Attending to support Trump is certainly criminal behavior for which the indictments will be forthcoming.
Until the next civil war, I think that January 6th has served as a cautionary tale for those Trump supporters considering protesting.

rsbn is panning the area, about 500 cops, a few dozen truck drivers who encircled the place as if a truck missile threat was expected. Cops love it, standing around earning overtime, chatting it up. Good way to spend taxpayer money.

They neutered his base as far as taking it any deeper than just praying. But I will tell you this, as God as my witness I will never ever again vote for another Republican as long as I live on the face of this earth. I see no unity or support from our representatives at the hill none whatsoever. I will vote for Trump and he will be the last republican I ever voted for! I swear it on my own future grave!
