NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville is headed to a runoff in the mayor’s race as no candidate received the needed 50% of the vote to win.
Freddie O’Connell and Alice Rolli finished with the most votes. Coming in third and just missing the runoff was Matt Wiltshire.
According to Davidson County Elections Administrator Jeff Roberts, the runoff election would take place Sept. 14, along with the special general election for TN House District 51.

I went to college in Nashville in the early to mid 70s. It’s unbelievable what has happened to that place. It sounds almost like the “Colorado Project” all over again.

Nashville hasn’t elected a Republican Mayor since 1886/87 (Grover Cleveland’s first term). Freddie O’Connell is a Communist moonbat simpcuck who is on the Metro Council, has a district that has the highest crime rate in the city and fighting crime is literally of no interest or priority to him at all.
That’s what I a read and it looks like he will win.

It’s amazing how many places play out like that. Atlanta isn’t too much different, just bigger.
Even getting any Republican Mayor means they’d still have to contend with a Communist Metro Council.
They even threw out the male moonbat leftist Vice-Mayor last night in favor of an even more Communist moonbat nutter bitch.
If O’Connell wins, the state will have to get even more into the babysitter role to look at every action he takes. He will have no interest in dealing with crime, which has been worsening (and we are woefully understaffed with police). The legislature needs to enact measures to remove local control over law enforcement in high-crime areas. They had a good start with deleting the ludicrously pro-criminal oversight boards that Metro voters installed several years ago (which “miraculously” saw virtually every one of its appointed members being cop-haters with an axe to grind).
There hasn’t been a non-leftist Mayor of Nashville since Beverly Briley (1963-75). Beginning with Kennedy leftist Dick Fulton in ‘75, they’ve all been rotten. Even Bredesen was a no-good phony, with explosively high crime rates on his watch with a hapless, Black police chief.
The nadir was Megan Barry screwing her security in the cemetery. Freddie might break that record for degeneracy. I get faggot vibes off him, or worse. Looks like someone you don’t want kids around.
Urban “values” vs. everyone else. Sadly, too many suburbanites are liking the degeneracy these days, too.
