Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) fired back at Donald Trump on Wednesday, calling him “a hot mess” after the former president took a jab at Christie’s weight.
“I mean, look at him. He’s — I mean he’s such a hot mess. And he’s like, talking to me about what I look like — take a look at him,” Christie said, responding to a question from NewsNation while in New Hampshire. NewsNation’s parent company is Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.
“What I know because I’ve known him for 22 years, is I am so in his head. What’s he doing talking about me? It’s because now I’m in second place in New Hampshire,” he added, referring to a recent poll from NH Journal/co-efficient showing Christie and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) — both presidential candidates for the 2024 Republican nomination — tied for second place.

Christie is a mouth without the intellect to back it up. And, yes Christie, you are in SECOND place in your back yard, that’s Second place, not first. And, there is a reason for that — see sentence one of this post.

Sorry, I can assure you that Chris Christie is NOT in Trump’s head.
He talks about Christie, like he’s talking about some insignificant piece of lint on his trousers, ONLY when someone in the audience blurts out, “He’s a fat pig.”
Then Trump takes it from there. It’s pure standup comedy, unpracticed pure and spontaneous.

Christie has an anger management problem. Trump laugh at him, and makes us laugh too.
What Christie is not saying is what he would do if he ever got that job he claims to want. The entire civilized world knows that Chris Christie ‘does not like’ Donald Trump, for his own personal reasons. What else is new? Nobody said you had to like Trump.
Trump seems to have been very magnanimous. Christie has been trying his best to get under Trump's skin, Trump made getting under his look easy.

The Democrats and their co-conspirators of the Deep State concoct over a dozen “crimes” against Trump from Russian Collusion to impeaching for wanting to discover the truth about Ukraine, to falsely accusing him of fomenting insurrection, etc. but instead of attacking the corrupt perpetrators, these tools attack the innocent victim.
I’m pretty sure Trump cares not much about CC except as one of those moving [slowly] targets to fire at in an arcade game.
The continuing Chris Wray debacle is 100x worse that the sum of your two examples.
