The January 6 Committee defied a demand last year by incoming Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) that it preserve all of its records, evidence, and transcripts, and has destroyed much of what it collected over more than a year of investigation.
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) made that revelation to Fox News Digital on Tuesday, also noting that the committee had not looked into possible security lapses at the Capitol, and that much of the material the committee did preserve was disorganized.
Fox News reported:
The House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee’s work.

Spoliation of evidence is a felony.
All who were on the committee are not collectively guilty of this deed. They are guilty of being on the committee that shouldn’t have been the witch hunt it was. But those accountable for disappearing these records are those in power over the operation and any that colluded with them outside of Pelosi such as the White House, DOJ et al.
There is nobody in power anywhere with jurisdiction to arrest them and in fact members of Congress aren’t arrested for destroying records while there or for anything else. If you know that’s true why then call out to “arrest them”? If you don’t know that people aren’t arrested because of something they did on a committee of Congress it’s time to wise up.
It’s a committee of Congress, not a crime on the street.
Much as we wish it were treated like a street crime, it’s not.

EXACTLY!!! I visit a political prisoner who has been imprisoned 5 years. An FBI agent, Robert Cessario, was sentenced Jan. 2023, to 3 years supervised probation, 6 months unmonitored home confinement and a $25,000 fine...!!!...after destroying information on this case. The prisoner...he has 14 more years to serve...!!!!
He has been denied a retrial. He supported Trump. Judges will be in front of Jesus one day with their evil decisions that have destroyed earthly lives.
