Trump Crushes Biden: Even From Prison Trump Has More Support But Biden Defeats DeSantis - Majority Of Dems Say Biden Shouldn't Run
DC Enquirer ^ | 08.10.2023 | Matthew Holloway

Posted on 08/11/2023 6:52:38 AM PDT by SoConPubbie

Dramatic new polling results from Premise have revealed that 41 percent of Americans polled would vote for 45th President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 election as opposed to incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden who would only capture 34 percent of the vote. And presenting a nightmare scenario for Democrats, Trump even wins from prison. However, should Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) prevail in the GOP primary, the poll shows that he would be defeated by Biden in a single-point race with each candidate barely securing about a third of the vote, 32 to 31 percent.

The Premise results from Five Thirty Eight align closely with intra-party polling according to Timcast News which reported the GOP primary field falling in behind Trump, who sits at 57 percent with DeSantis trailing by a devastating 41-point gap at 16 percent. All other GOP contenders are in single digits and are largely no-factor in the poll.

There does, however, exist an interesting wrinkle in the poll results which indicate that only a net 69 percent of Republicans would likely continue to support Trump if he were convicted and sent to prison under any of the four indictments currently against him, a seventeen-point drop. Fascinatingly this would give Trump a theoretical net 39 percent of the vote, still enough to defeat Joe Biden's 34 percent. It is important to note, however, that 25 percent of voters were unsure on who they would vote for between Joe Biden and Donald Trump when prompted.

This scenario would present a unique legal situation, of having a man elected president during a prison sentence and likely amidst a contentious appeals process that would likely end with a self-pardon, or potentially a short period of constitutional incapacity under the 25th Amendment, until his pardon could be effectuated, making his selection of a vice president all the more important.

As is typical of many prominent mainstream polls, the Premise oversampled Democrats, as was noted by our colleagues at Timcast News, this could skew the data leftward. However, this makes the findings even more profound suggesting the possibility of an even wider margin of victory for Trump. Furthermore, a startling majority, 55 percent, of self-identified Democrat voters said they believe Biden should not be running for a second term as president.

However, this is belied by the fact that alternate Democrats can't even crack the 25 percent mark with Vice President Kamala Harris leading at 21 percent followed by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with 15 percent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) with 14 percent, and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) with 10 percent. All other Democrats showed at single digits.

Yeah I should listen to a fool like you instead. I love my country. Who do you want, 4th place DeSantis? Maybe you like fat slob Christie. Coward Pence.
What’s your plan big mouth instead of your insults.

Maybe you’re for a Romney run.

Polls, shmolls.

All the Demoncrats need to do is throw sand in the "election" machinery in the major conservative precincts.

Just like they did in Az.

2024 election stacks up as:
Trump vs Democrats vs Republicans vs Independents
Then the Electoral College meets.
Trump vs Democrats, Republicans & Independents

Interesting to say the least.

Sorry but these are the people I hate that will write in their mother and elect a Democrat and they’re so angry and arrogant about it. I’ve known them, gritting their teeth and yelling “I don’t care!” while they help elect a Democrat that harms everything and everyone they supposedly care about.

Yeah I know puke “Republicans” who wrote in Romney last time. They belong in hell.

Won’t make one damn bit of difference as long as cheat-by-mail-ins are allowed.

Unlike you, a cultist, I’m open to hearing what others have to say.

My recommendation to you is to treat Trump with all the loyalty that he showed to all the J6 protestors that Biden is now rounding up like Stalin that he could have shielded with a stroke of his pen. But he didn’t because he cared more about his political future than you or anyone else.

Dump's 47% ceiling is as hard as concrete...

Trump gained at least 12 million voters in 2020.

Only a person who believes that Biden actually got 81 million votes, believes that based on percentages, Trump has a ceiling.

And according to Rasmussen, that's you and about 39% of the country.

If it's Dump or the rest of the RINOs, I'll write in RD.

That's real smart.

Don't care. Trump's going to win in a landslide anyway, right? My vote won't matter.

The way things are, Biden would lose a debate against a rock.

This has been the attitude here since 2019, and yet Biden bested his peers in every debate. There was talk of him collapsing on stage in a debate. Biden has defied all odds. I would not bet against Biden.

It doesn't matter whether 81 million people showed up on election day for Briben or they sent their foot soldiers door to door collecting and completing ballots over election month. They all counted toward Briben's final tally.

We just had an RNC chair election in which the challenger was calling to organize our own massive ballot harvesting program, and Trump went ahead and endorsed the useless incumbent, unsurprisingly named Romney. So, you tell me who actually wants to win this race or just wants to be able to complain about voter fraud in defeat again.

It doesn't even matter, anyway. Romney utterly humiliated Obama in the first debate. I've never seen a debate beatdown like that before, and it made no difference in the end.

Half the country is communist. Briben could miss the debates because he's in hospice care, and it will make almost no difference to their voters. PA just elected a seantor who can't speak in complete sentences over a pretty moderate challenger, and the margin wasn't particularly close. Another loser of an endorsement from Trump. He can really pick them.

I don’t think he won any debate in 2019. Also, there is some evidence that he was fed answers via a hearing-aid type device. The GOP needs to have two doctors examine all debaters for receivers just before they walk on stage. I would also either place the debaters in Faraday cages or have an off-stage broadband RF jammer in place and running.

Biden must run or go to prison. But he will not be given the chance—My Ouija Board says he will die in office of a Medical emergency. Harris will be president but not run for office—Open Dimmycrat convention—Dark Horse will be selected—to run again Trump or DeSantis.

Still can't bring yourself to say many of the Biden ballots were not real voters.

When did Trump endorse Rona? I remember a week before the vote, he said, let them fight it out.

https://www.npr.org/2023/01/27/1152182495/gop-chair-ronna-mcdaniel-elected-republican

Article says Trump privately endorsed Rona McDaniel (Romney).

“...Trump privately backed McDaniel, powerful forces within his “Make America Great Again” movement lined up behind Dhillon. ...

Who knows if it’s really true! My question was back then

1. What ere her accomplishments to deserve it?
2. Why didn’t Trump show loyalty to his attorney - Harmeet Dhillon?

The Republicans want to impeach Biden, making Harris the president.

So she will run in 2024.

Democrats want to keep Biden and will not vote to impeach him.

Then Biden will be put to pasture and Gavin Newsom will save the day for Democrats.

Mark my word, this is going to happen...CNN has been pushing Newsom for president.
