There really isn’t a single person in the mainstream media that should moderate debates. Come to think of it, there should be a moderator at all. The only thing needed is a time keeper, and that can be automated. Let the candidates choose the topic(s) to debate, then go at it. The American people are smart enough to handle that.

I used to have some degree of respect for this guy. But, I saw that interview and it really pissed me off when Brett was noticeably hostile to Trump.

Brett inherited his show from Brit Hume, a never Trumper and good friend of Bill Kristol, another rabid never Trumper. Brett was chosen because he too was appalled that Trump would be president, he played his role in tightening the race in Arizona, which really should tell us all we need to know.
He is absolutely unfit to conduct a political debate for any party, If they weren’t going to do any better than this, they might as well gone back to Chris Wallace.
