He goes into great detail on how he and other Marines had the bomber in their sights and the target had been positively identified but multiple people but were denied permission to take him out.
He also went into great detail how the entire withdrawal was conducted, from watching the Taliban routinely executed people right in front of US Soldiers and on-site commanders repeatedly denied them permission to stop the executions, he witnessed babies being thrown onto razor wire and dying, really sick stuff
The guy was a true blue marine who now questions why he was ever in the military
