“Democracy Dies in Darkness” is the (sometimes ironic) slogan of The Washington Post.
But it’s also a fair description of what’s happening in Tennessee, as the state Legislature is being called to a special session even as local and federal officials withhold information that might be critical to its decision-making.
Gov. Bill Lee ordered the special session to begin Aug. 21 in response to a March 27 mass shooting in which three adults and three children at the Covenant School, a Christian school in Nashville’s Green Hills neighborhood, were killed.
The Nashville Tennessean article refers only to “a shooter.”
The shooter was a female-to-male transgender shooter named Audrey Hale, aged 28, who left a manifesto before being killed by police.
Hale had chosen to identify as a man, using the pronouns he/him.
The manifesto included detailed plans put together over months to shoot up the school, according to reports just after the shooting from police who had seen it.

Unfortunately, they’re the only ones who have seen it.
Local and federal authorities with access to the manifesto have refused to make its contents public.
Though Hale sent an Instagram message to a friend just before the shooting, saying, “One day this will make more sense. I’ve left more than enough evidence behind,” we haven’t seen that evidence.

They seldom keep things secret that would make them look good.
Instead it’s usually something that would reflect badly on them or someone they’re protecting.

The feds, and the NEA, are promoting all of this LGBTQRSUV garbage, and they don’t want anyone to see the toxicology report, or her insane, written ramblings.
It would show a drug stew in her system, and the resultant derangement.
The autopsy report is publicly available and was expertly done.
It describes a normal, healthy, intact, 28 year old female with no evidence of drugs or alcohol in her system, and zero signs of any chemical or surgical efforts to transition to a male, with three major wounds, any of which would have been fatal by itself, who stayed in the fight with those wounds far longer than one should expect.
Which argues for extensive mental illness being the driving force for her actions and her ability to keep going while mortally wounded.
She kept going? The body cam of the LEO who bravely ran toward her while she shot up the school showed her falling immediately after being hit. Did I miss something?
But it’s not clear any of these moves would have done anything to prevent the shooting that provides the reason for the special session.

I’m sure Audrey Hale would have stopped her plans to kill 6 people if only the Tennessee Legislature would have eliminated taxes on gun safes the week before she did kill 6 people.

I’m sort of surprised that the weaponized autism crowd over at 4Chan hasn’t cooked up a convincing fake. After all, if the powers that be wish to leave these things to our collective imagination, they deserve the worst.
After being mortally shot in the head, chest, and right leg, a shotgun blast to the left leg which did not break any bones or puncture major blood vessels put her down.

The real reason why “they” don’t want people to know the truth: it would show that she was put up to this by certain very evil elements within the democrat party and the administration.
Plus it would show just how evil and demonic the whole “transgender” phenomenon really is.
'mental illness' possibly but more likely some people, with a clear mind just choose to do evil.
The two women murdered were acquaintances of Bill Lee and his wife. RINO Lee is taking advantage of this to implement ‘red flag laws’ in Tennessee with the help of the Southern Baptist Convention. Natch, Tennessee pastors have been absolutely quiet about this angle. I mean ‘crickets’.
