A Tucson, Arizona, woman took matters into her own hands by shooting and killing a registered sex offender who attempted to break into her home, according to reports.
FOX 10 in Phoenix reported that the incident occurred at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 11 at a home near Garvey and Pyle Roads.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said a 54-year-old woman was home alone, when 42-year-old Jayson Magrum allegedly tried to break into her home.
The woman saw what was happening and started yelling for Magrum to leave, but he reportedly continued to gain access to the home.
"The female armed herself with a handgun and fired a shot out of a window to attempt to scare the male away," investigators said.

I guess you could say he was scared to death.

Warning shot was a miss, but it prompted him to try and enter the home where he reached for her weapon. This resulted in Mr. Magrum being introduced to Mr. Magnum and was subsequently introduced to floor temperature.
You don't have to register guns in Arizona, nor do you have to be registered to own a gun. Don't have to have a carry permit of any kind, either.

I think libs are gojng soft on crime the way they are for multiple reasons, one being it requires citizens to engage and take out criminals, they want the liability to shift onto citizens rather than them/govt.
There are several other reasons but this is one of them.
Which is why I can not approve of the "warning shot" concept.
You shoot to stop the threat.
Then you call the police and a second amendment lawyer. You tell the police that you shot to stop a threat. And then you shut your mouth.
You do not talk to the police, your friends, your family or even your pastor. Your lawyer does the talking for you.
You never talk about it. Ever.
