They say the ability to "reason" separates man from animals....and Biden voters.
Really? And I avoid Drive-Thrus like the plague.
Where I go, you can park, go in, get your stuff and leave before you get through a Drive Thru.
The ‘funny’ thing is that these lazy-asses are also ‘concerned’ about globull warming, while they sit there in their running cars.
I’m close to 85. I love having my monthly Costco grocery order delivered.
I enjoy all of the food and other items we order from Amazon.
However, I still like to shop weekly at a local family’s farm outlet.
Once a week, I or we both shop at a small grocery chain with a great produce section, butcher shop and excellent sales on everyday food/grocery items.
We avoid Safeway, Home Depot and WalMart due to care less
staff and possible unsafe parking lots/sidewalks re possible robbery/assault.
Stay away from funerals. That's where a crap ton of Biden voters hang out.
A trip to Costco in my area is like going to New Delhi with all the Indians there.
I went to KFC. I was the only one dining in during the rush
Yeah I'll do that (Instacart) if I'm too busy to go shopping. And most of the time I'm satisfied with what got picked (although sometimes it wasn't 100% correct).
Also, I get some exercise walking around the supermarket. But I certainly do appreciate delivery for those who can benefit from it. My parents used to get their prescriptions delivered, since they both were in their 90s.
Dutch Brothers is building an absolutely obnoxious number of locations here in San Antonio, all at the same time. Buy local!
LOL. I’m the opposite. I pick my through the drive thru car line to east inside at Chick-Fil-A.
Yeah, it’s weird. A genuine sociological phenomena. Another Dutch Bros was just approved in my city. Their dual stacking lanes can accommodate 22 vehicles. They generate significiantly more traffic, per square foot, than any other type of business. And DB is unique— it’s not just ‘drive-by’ traffic headed elsewhere; they’re a destination, and people will drive for 20 minutes just to buy a $6 cup of sugary glop.
Where is that?
Of course, back then, the cars were a LOT bigger and it was easier to eat in your vehicle. Sonic tries this, but it isn't the same.
“A trip to Costco in my area is like going to New Delhi with all the Indians there”
Our monthly Costco shopping was often like a quick tour of some foreign companies. We often had lunch at an excellent Mexican restaurant or a dockside seafood restaurant.
Then, inside Costco, often the food samples were like a quickie world tour of foods.
We have not been back due to the neighborhoods and inside rules since $! and the new rules.
My area is zoned semi-rural, and I'm surrounded by farms, with outlets, where I can get all of my fruits and vegetables.
“I went to KFC. I was the only one dining in during the rush!”
They will be closing one of the two KFC’s in our city.
I don’t consider walking 5 yards to be the issue. People like to sit in the car and listen to the radio rather than standing in line. Fast food isn’t very fast anymore.
Obstetricians and neurosurgeons have resisted this trend so far, but I can see that changing in the near future.
Morgantown, WV though I have to say I haven’t been to all the fast-food places. Going to them is something in general I never do, it’s a rare visit if I do. I doubt if now its virus related. They probably have a hiring problem and have discovered it makes the restaurants cheaper to run.
