I’m 80. I love having my groceries delivered.
I’m close to 85. I love having my monthly Costco grocery order delivered.
I enjoy all of the food and other items we order from Amazon.
However, I still like to shop weekly at a local family’s farm outlet.
Once a week, I or we both shop at a small grocery chain with a great produce section, butcher shop and excellent sales on everyday food/grocery items.
We avoid Safeway, Home Depot and WalMart due to care less
staff and possible unsafe parking lots/sidewalks re possible robbery/assault.
Yeah I'll do that (Instacart) if I'm too busy to go shopping. And most of the time I'm satisfied with what got picked (although sometimes it wasn't 100% correct).
Also, I get some exercise walking around the supermarket. But I certainly do appreciate delivery for those who can benefit from it. My parents used to get their prescriptions delivered, since they both were in their 90s.
I AM 83.
STILL DOING ALL MY OWN SHOPPING.
GROCERIES/gas/ranch supplies/ Lowe’s.
