However, if a contractor screwed the pooch, he would not get paid.An anonymous poster on the internet, heard from a friend, who knew someone who worked on elevators for Trump Inc. Unless that 3rd party owns the service company, that 3rd party tech got paid his wage, for replacing buttons on a panel. If I owned a service company, I certainly wouldn't be the one opening panels, that's grunt work.
I think the whole thing is a lie (notice how gagamaggot latched right on to it) but as you pointed out, if they screwed the pooch on the job then they wouldn't get the invoice paid but Trump himself likely never even saw the invoice. His managers perhaps but not Trump.

These people who have pull further up the food chain, including many holding office, they work to "heal" the party, only if they themselves "approve" of the candidate.
Otherwise, they use their "conscience" as a crutch to lean on, being pure of heart, and tsk tsking the front runner whom they disapprove of, and not lifting a GD finger for the candidate in the general.
Until there is a national cleansing of cinos, the party will remain non united while the rats repeatedly take win, place and show.

I was hoping that we could have changed the RNC leadership last year. We have much more work to do.

I stopped reading the Post a long time ago. Between their trump hatred and Michael Goodwin's pearl clutching columns I'd had enough.

The leftists would be more than willing to sacrifice Biden if it meant they would also get rid of Trump in the process.

If any of the candidates had any cojones, they would end their campaign, go full vocal support for Trump, and say this was a “We hang together or we hang separatley” moment ala Patrick Henry.Trump is the one who needs to throw in the towel.
He has zero path to the White House. The Democrats will not only keep the White House and Senate, but take back the House as well. And then they'll pass legislation to strip Trump of his Secret Service protection so that he can die in prison.
Oh yeah, they'll get to replace the 70-somethings Thomas and Alito as well.
If Trump had any sense, he'd end this quixotic crusade and throw the full force of his endorsement behind Ron DeSantis and go spend a well-earned retirement as a free man in the free state of Florida.
