No argument here. His argument is the old refrain, both sides do it . There is no nuance as to that kind of analysis. There is no examination of the depth, breadth, and character of their respective actions.
Stossel is not a bad guy. So I’m a little disappointed by his take here.
But for the sake of argument, let’s accept his premise for a moment. Then I would point out two things.
One, Trump’s misstatements are bombastic in nature. Biden’s are evil in nature.
Trump disappoints me. Biden turns my stomach.
Two, I can see a path forward for Trump to learn from this, and improve.
Biden will just get more and more disgusting.
I dont think Trump is terrible or vengeful. I think he is strong willed and pulls his punches much more than anyone realizes.
His sad sack act ran out of steam 30 years ago, but here he comes at election time like an attack of gas after bad meal. He’s pure Clown Time.
John Stossel’s influence has dropped to zero. Trump is humble enough to admit mistakes and honest enough to admit achievements. Humility and honesty go a long way, Mr. Stossel.
Wrong.
“Nah, he’s just another Establishment tool whose “brand” is pretending not to be an Establishment tool.”
Actually he is a staunch libertarian at heart and a sore loser crybaby. Talked with him many times in Libertarian forums.
I’m pretty sure they’ll never allow Trump to win another election. They prefer him to be locked up by then at the very least. I doubt another Republican will win a major election in the next 20 yrs unless we stoop to their level of cheating.
“Typical Libertarian hubris.”
Yep.
“We don’t all think alike and I don’t want to be part of group who demands it.”
Likewise. While I will vote for DJT, I’m not on board with those hereon who apparently despise anyone who dares compete with him.
Apparently Trump didn’t pay him.

I doubt President Trump pays anyone. That is why he has business managers.
A friend of mine in Europe with whom I correspond asked me a question which I cannot answer properly. Since some of you may be much more up on politics than I am perhaps one or the other maybe able to answer tis question. His question is as follows.
Can any district attorney of ANY state here in the US order the arrest of Trump or Giuliani and then order them being jailed? In other words what happened in Georgia could theoretical be repeated over and over in all 50 States. My friend asked me if the US has gone stupid? Your answer will be appreciated.......
“Trump is humble enough to admit mistakes...”
LOL
“I’m pretty sure they’ll never allow Trump to win another election. They prefer him to be locked up by then at the very least. I doubt another Republican will win a major election in the next 20 yrs unless we stoop to their level of cheating.”
I agree except for one point. “Elections” are now an obsolete concept and has been entered into the history books. That frog has done been boiled to death.
You leftist have no clue.
What is Rona and the RNC doing to heal that split?
Stossel hasn’t sense enough to comb his hair or shave off that beard that looks like someone crapped on his face.
That may be true. However, I don’t think anyone in public office has ever been mistreated in this way.
The way he has been treated is disgraceful and disgusting, and it makes me ashamed to be an American.
