Nearly 99 percent of 'Covid deaths' reported by the CDC each week are not primarily caused by the virus, official data shows. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Covid dashboard shows just 1.7 percent of the 324 Covid deaths registered in the week ending August 19 had the coronavirus as the primary cause of death. The figures suggest just a handful of American lives are being lost directly to the virus each week. For comparison, the virus was behind one in three 'Covid deaths' at America's pandemic peak in 2021.

disconnect: how can the CDC be posting this information and still the Government be thinking to impose masks and shut-downs? I know I know it is the government; as I said disconnect - mind boggling.
Why would the CDC resort to telling the truth? And why now? Something ain’t right.
It’s called a modified limited hangout.
About 6 months into Covid....here in Germany where I lived...local county health department started daily accounts (how many tested positive, how many were quarantined, how many went onto a ventilator, etc).
Every month, they added another statistic or two. So about month 12, they started to tell you deaths and whether the person had a 2nd issue (like cancer for example). They would not say precisely what it was....just that it figured into things.
After three or four months, if you paid attention...probably two-thirds of people who died...were over the age of 70 and had some 2nd issue in the cause.
I doubt if you could have that kind of information in the US because it’d lead you to ask stupid questions.
It’s like bringing up flu-deaths, and just noting that older folks typically die of flu more than younger folks, and if you shaped-up a weak immune system, your odds of dying go up a notch or two.

Ventilators killed way more people than the virus did. And, Remdesivir was a death sentence.
My guess is that the deep state is frustrated that their over-the-top legal persecution of Trump is turning him into a David figure against a corrupt Goliath, so they're lining up the ducks for plan B; Blame the deaths on Trump's fast tracking of the frankenshot, even if it means throwing big Pharma under the bus. Called it two years ago.
A guy I work with lost both his brothers during the plandemic. Both were put on ventilators in the hospital, in separate states. There’s a drug cocktail they always put you on when you’re intubated too, which contains deadly chemicals, separate from Remdesivir. Combined it’s usually a death sentence.
Plus, they’ve discovered recently that the tubing in ventilators was extremely bacteria-laden, pushing crap in to the patient. Purposely maybe?
I wouldn’t doubt it. The law that got passed paid every hospital ~$50K for every patient that DIED, with no reward for patients that lived. And cranking those ventilators out was priority number 1 at one time.
The two worst comorbidities in the US were being old and being fat.
One can’t change their age, but our country is absolutely packed with disgusting fatties.
Being obese also causes numerous issues such as inflammation, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.

Everyone involved in approving the vaccine, mandating the vaccine, and enforcing lockdowns is a criminal.
A deacon in our church died of Covid in March 2020, long before the vaccine, so it can be dangerous. My wife and I just had the sniffles from Covid, had much worse colds, but my sister and nephew both had a hard time with it, sister lost 30lbs in 6 weeks. The vast majority of people survive it, but doesn’t necessarily mean you want to have it.
Propaganda works. We have alleged Freepers who insist that Trump is guilty of a hundred or so crimes since surely the DOJ wouldn't bring false charges. TV said so.
It's a fat, stupid, ugly world we live in. Easily half of humanity isn't worth the air they breathe. But you have to take the good with the bad, to a point.

I think the CDC is attempting — a feeble attempt, at that — to recover at least a shred of the former credibility to dispense medical advice they once had. But as long as they continue to push the ineffective, potential deadly “vaccines” and the completely (100%) ineffective masks, the self-destruction of their credibility by tens of thousands of “medical experts” will remain ... although these “medical experts” will continue to spout their lies (and they are lies as even these “medical experts” know what they say isn’t true). It’s truly disgusting what the CDC has done to seriously damage America’s medical system.
AS I have always stated, the numbers were inflated due to medicare fraud and panic mongering.
One of the challenges we’ve got is that a vast number of older adults grew up in a world quite different from the one we’re in now. Journalism, decades back, was not (generally speaking...) naked propaganda 24/7. Many of us boomers still hang onto the antiquated notions of the past, putting faith and trust in those who are undeserving of it. The idea that a popular journalist would outright lie to and otherwise constantly deceive us is not readily accepted by many. Yet here we are.
