Biden just “says stuff”.

If it sounds kind of good, then the mission is accomplished. None of it has to be true.

Biden just makes sh*t up off the top of his head without even considering plausibility.
And it's not because he's senile. He has always done this.

Briben is such a lying liar that lying is his natural state, and he doesn’t even know he’s lying because he believes his own lies.

Boy Howdy, Joe’s silver (forked) tongue was as persuasive in 1963 as it is today.

Pedo Joe’s mentor and close friend was Sen. Robert “Sheets” Byrd (RAT-WV), a high ranking member of the KKK.

Joe can’t remember what he had for breakfast let alone something from 60 years ago. Biden’s a world joke of the sad state of affairs in this Republic. Worse yet, the world thinks the people of the United States voted this clown into office.

Biden may have confused the Civil Rights Act with an extension of the Voting Rights Act. Did Biden “literally, and not figuratively” convince Thurmond to vote for that? Most likely it was the changes in Strom’s state and in the country.

before he died ???

Strom was alive and kicking and dancing 20 years later...

I know I danced with him at a GOP Christmas party on James Island ...

He liked to dance with the young women

He might be claiming he got Thurmond to say he’d have changed his vote some years later.

The same Biden who bragged about working and getting things done in the senate with segregationists like James Eastland and Herman Talmadge.

Biden is a lying sack of …

I don’t know if anybody has noticed or not, but there were a bunch of blacks protesting FOR Trump down in Atlanta. There was a poll the other day that indicated that blacks are shifting away from Democrats and away from Biden. It’s certainly not a majority of blacks, but there’s a shift anyways. There’s an opportunity here and I don’t see Ronna over at the RNC doing anything about it. Biden just gave a perfect setup for a political ad. More than that, Biden just gave the perfect setup for unified Republican talking points for the next three days: Democrats have only made things worse for blacks and they constantly lie to blacks. Republicans make life better for blacks, just look at what Trump did for black unemployment and wealth. Trump didn’t do it just for blacks, he did it for all Americans.

Was this before or after the 'Big Guy' had his run-in with Corn Pop?

That Corn Pop was a bad dude.

There was a Civil Rights Act in 1991 that Thurmond did vote for- it was proposed by John Danforth and signed into law by George H.W. Bush. And while it shares a title with the 1964 law, it really wasn’t much of a landmark law, it primarily created a special class for women, and was not considered to be much of a change in racial politics. So, while Biden might have been referring to the 1991 law, he omits the date, and any other qualifier because he wants to appear to be more important. Considering that the bill was sponsored by a Republican, signed into law by a Republican, and passed with 93 votes, I don’t think Biden had to do much cajoling to get Thurmond to climb aboard.

While Thurmond and Biden were contemporaries in the Senate, the president would have been 21 at the time of the landmark legislation's passing — and nowhere near the Senate seat he won at 29 years old.

Huh? Article 1, Section 3: "No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years,... "
