The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Rangers released a statement after Nevada Rangers rammed through a climate blockade near the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on Sunday.
Sunday marked day one of Burning Man 2023, a yearly music and art festival in Northern Nevada.
Climate protestors blocked the road leading to the Burning Man festival causing a major traffic jam.
The climate militants were demanding Burning Man ban private jets and single-use plastics, according to a reporter on scene.

Nevada Tribal Rangers rammed through the blockade, pointed a gun at the activists, and slammed to the ground.
“Get down now! Get on the ground! Don’t move!” the Ranger shouted as he pointed a gun at the climate militants.

A Nevada Ranger told a reporter at the scene they received a 911 call saying that someone in the crowd was going to shoot the activists blocking the street.
This would explain their urgency and aggressive response to the blockade.
The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe released a statement confirming the climate militants were all from out of state.
The Ranger’s conduct is also ‘under review.’
“Upon arrival, Rangers informed the activists to clear themselves from the highway which backed up the traffic for several miles. Our Rangers used his patrol vehicle to move the blockade debris out of the roadway to allw Burning Man traffic to proceed. The involved Ranger’s conduct is under review,” the statement said.

Seriously, the aerial surveillance of the highway shows vehicles backed up for miles and getting worse.
That’s a lot of people on a two lane highway that need to go to the bathroom or get to some destination and people will turn around in the middle of the road or drive on the side of the road to speed things up.
To arrive on scene you had officers driving on the side of the road, who have been prevented from arriving on scene if cars where in the way with no place to go. At least two officers arrived from the desert above the highway. There probably was not road to get there and it was dangerous.
All of which created a dangerous situation that needed to be dealt with immediately.

He shouldn’t have dropped an F bomb over the PA system. But his actions were 100% right. Those jackasses could have killed people. It was in a desert, in August, and traffic was at a complete standstill for several miles. Cars catch fire, someone plows into the back of stopped traffic, medical emergencies happen, air conditioning breaks.

I watched much of the video that showed events before the Rangers arrived on the scene. Liberal attendees of Burning Man were chastising the blocking activists, yelling at them that "I agree with you, but what the f*** are you blocking US for!". Now that right there is funny, long miles-long line of liberals fuming while blocked by their own kind.

Why? Just pull the debris off to the side of the road and drag the vermin with the debris. The perps chained themselves, they have to accept the consequences of their actions. Blocking a two lane highway through the desert in summer could easily kill someone. They blocked an Ambulance that had to drive around the other cars.
