Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R) announced Tuesday he’s suspending his campaign for the White House.
“Running for President of the United States has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Suarez said in a release announcing the move, adding, “It was a privilege to come so close to appearing on stage with the other candidates at last week’s first debate.”
“While I have decided to suspend my campaign for President, my commitment to making this a better nation for every American remains,” Suarez added.
The end of his short-lived presidential bid comes a week after he failed to make the GOP’s first primary debate stage in Milwaukee, falling short of the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) polling requirements to qualify for the event despite reporting that his campaign had hit the donor requirements.

Good, he didn’t stand much of a chance anyways.
It was such an honor and privilege to almost qualify. The only reason to suspend a presidential campaign is because there were not enough bribes, er donations to continue.
Why bother. Nobody knew he was running.

This is actually a sign that the GOPe have given up on the DeSantis campaign.
This guy was never going to have a real national campaign. The purpose of him running was to take votes in the Florida primary so that when the rules were changed to delegates awarded by Congressional District, DeSantis would get the most and thus have “won” Florida.
DeSantis has cratered, so the purpose of this guy running has ended. Also, no need to change from delegates winner take all.
He failed right out of the gate when he didn’t know who the Uyghurs are in China just like Gary Johnson didn’t know that Aleppo is the capital of Syria.

Must have a boring life, cause the milli-second he was in the race, and NO ONE knowing who he is, is pretty embarrassing.
