Russia is first.
China is next if they want to be. That’s up to them.
Russia cannot defeat Ukraine; there is no way that they will attack NATO. This is just saber rattling for the domestic audience.
I won’t rule out Russia attacking the Baltics in particular. They seem to be talking themselves into it.

Setting aside the ludicrosity of Russia talking about just war, which means nothing to them, since they are pragmatic opportunists, really I’d just say to Medvedyev: “go ahead and try it.”

Name a single nation on the planet that Russia didn’t conspire to overthrow the government of.

NATO and The USA Poke Russia because they believe Russia will not fight back. To many see Russia as a beefed up Iraq and an easy enemy to defeat. We are being led into a bloody caldron. Our enemies have many ways to hit us—ways we do not see. Like Pluck said in that great play: “What fools these mortals be.”
Megan, Russia wouldn’t have “invaded” had NATO not reneged on encroaching their border by signing up nations and Obama/Hillary orchestrating a couple in Ukraine in 2014.

Russia absolutely will attack Poland and Romania, if they win in Ukraine. Russia believes that given their demographic collapse, if they don’t secure their borders now, while they still have the manpower, Russia will cease to exist.
And they’re right.
Securing their borders requires troops in Poland and Romania. And that means an attack on NATO, and that means nukes.

How about Russia quit invading its neighbors and threatening everyone, before we decide to pay some small percentage of our defense budget to see their military ground into dust, and their economy crashed.
