The Russians proved their stupidity and arrogance when they thought they could seize Ukraine unopposed. Now it remains to be seen what the limits of Russian stupidity look like.
How about NATO quit breaking signed Minsk Agreements? On the record, for lies to Russia.
How about NATO MIL “exercises” exercise somewhere else, besides Russia’s eastern flank, poking the bear.
How about NATO remove the nuclear potential from the sites near border of Russia.

I believe that to be true. I don’t expect the Russians to forever act the same way the US did in Iraq when arms and men were coming over from Syria with little to no intervention on our part.
I am dead set against any involvement whatsoever in Ukraine, war materials, or money. If we want to give money, it should be for humanitarian goals only, but even then, those monies cannot be protected against corruption and theft by the Ukrainian oligarchs.
I am no longer a believer in NATO. But we are still bound by treaties, which was why I am dead set against bringing in Ukraine to NATO, since it is a transparent effort to drag the United States in.
That said, if Russia attacks a NATO country, I would be on board with a full NATO response. Not just the United States. ALL of them, FULLY engaged with troops, arms, and money...although I am fully aware there are even Americans who wish for this to happen.
But that is the only circumstance apart from a direct attack on the United States where we should be involved.

I didn’t say a thing about our readiness. I just pointed out that an attack on NATO requires NATO to respond.
NATO knows this, might not want it, and might not be ready... But are obligated. There wouldn’t be enough political juice for them to weasel out.
But neither is Russia ready to fight NATO, in fact, they’d be in worse shape DUE to the ongoing war they’re already in, so they won’t attack NATO. That’s just silly.
