In a video taken from the passenger seat of a car after Narendra Modi’s address to the joint session of Congress in June, Vivek Ramaswamy was full of praise for the Indian prime minister.
“Modi talked unapologetically about Indian national identity,” he said in the video, which was posted on X, the platform previously known as Twitter. “He quoted the Vedas, ancient Indian scriptures. Yet here in the United States we have now gotten in the habit of apologizing for our own national history. … That’s what I think we need to learn here from Modi’s visit, is that we in this country are at our best when we too do not apologize for who we are.”
These seem like standard talking points on their face. But there were two somewhat remarkable things about the comments. First, Ramaswamy referenced something so distinctly Indian—the Vedas (Hindu religious texts)—when addressing a Republican base that’s overwhelmingly white and Christian. Second, and more strangely, he seemed to praise Modi’s Hindu nationalism—and call for an American equivalent.
An American equivalent can mean only one thing. Hindus represent about 1 percent of the U.S. population; Ramaswamy certainly isn’t advocating for Hindu nationalism in America. Instead, he appears to advocate for a similarly shaped religious nationalism in the U.S. based on the country’s majority faith: Christianity.
Indeed, Ramaswamy has all but explicitly supported Christian nationalism on the campaign trail. “Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values, there’s no doubt about it,” the candidate told NBC News in July. And in an interview with NewsNation this month, he declared, “I believe I live by those values more so than many self-proclaimed Christian politicians.”

Lolz. This one is a spine chiller. Can't wait until the documentary set to music on the Führer Network.
Throughout his campaign, Ramaswamy has repeatedly pointed out his ethnicity,
and emphasizes his immigrant parents’ background, as a sort of shtick, to set him
apart from the other Republicans, (which is Vivek being crassly calculated).
Moreover, Vivek’s obsessively reminding Republicans about how “ethnic” he is, seems to be his manipulative way of playing with people’s fears of being perceived as “racists.”
After all, if they vote for him.....a decidedly “brown” person..... (but the “safe kind”), they could showcase their color-blindness......and couldn’t possibly be racist.
While true, there is also a certain subset of white nationalists, usually also pot smokers, who have an almost masochistic fascination with asians.
RE: And I dont’ care about his religion.
Not caring about a candidate’s religion is what has caused America to be on a slipperyslope.
The government is on CHRIST’S shoulders. We Christians should strive to be the head and not the tail.
Being named and then suing to get removed. That's just the most stupid hollywood plot pile of sewage effluent. Literally cried laughing when I first heard about that absurd sh%t lolz
Dont know any, myself.
Can someone please brushstroke President Trump from this photo, before it is too late?
Read the transcript of Trump’s speech. Then it won’t be bothersome.
I like Trump for the most part. He had a great three years as my President. The idolatry of him among many supporters is bewildering, much like that of Barack Gaybama.
Lol

Thus far, I’m placing Ramaswamy in the ‘two bit hustler’ category. I’m not buying what he’s selling. He’s going to have to prove me wrong and I’ve yet to see it. A Clintonista.
The liberals first claimed that support of Trump was/is “idolatry”. Welcome back to 2016.
Opus?
Sadly, the commies infiltrated the Jesuits back in the 50’s onward and the destruction is nearly complete. Read Bella Dodd’s book ‘School of Darkness’. I suspect all the child molestation was intentional to take down the Church. Shame on those that covered it up out of embarrassment.
And yet we Christians were a key voting block who helped elect Donald Trump, a man who was not anyone’s idea of a devout born again Christian.
So if the suggestion is that we have to reject Vivek because he’s not a born-again Christian, then we should not have supported Donald Trump the way we did.
He said he was put on that list without his consent. So that’s why he sued to get his name removed. Why is that funny?
100%! I worked with many Indians in business. The Caste system is alive and well. Many(not all) of the Indians that came to this country are from the higher caste because they could buy their way in. They can be so belittling. I slapped one across the face one time for patting my arse. They think American women are easy...I put him in his place. I’ve had some run-ins for sure.
I remember telling my first kid while I was taking him out to learn to drive to beware of Indians who would slam on their brakes as he nears the traffic light/sign. He looked at me and laughed and said he already knew that. Everybody knew they did this to collect insurance but I didn’t realize a kid would know. My son had some Indian friends and so I’m not saying they are all bad. The 2nd generation Indians raised in America are far nicer and my son’s friends were very respectful.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a WEF member and Soros supporter. See photo from 2021. In RED shirt 3rd row from bottom one person away from Klaus Schwab. He also accepted $90,000 from Paul Soros brother of George for schooling costs.

Also he is a investment fraudster. WAY too much money went thru his hands starting in his 20’s. No sane person would give him a dime let alone $100 million that he got when he was 28! I suspect he is a front and money from the WEF countries / China are behind the push to get him and others into office.
Look how he made $950 million so quickly. He said he had a miracle drug, sold stock before it collapsed 75% in 1 day!! He also is a big supporter of pro-DEI and ESG initiatives.

Small club he is in ain’t it?
Took him this long?
