WASHINGTON — President Biden tried to laugh off a question Thursday about whether he will comply with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s request for his bank records ahead of a possible impeachment inquiry into his role in first son Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
“Hee-hee-hee,” the 80-year-old president chuckled during a gaggle with reporters at FEMA headquarters in Washington after discussing the impact of Tropical Storm Idalia on Florida and nearby states.
“Let’s talk about why I’m here,” Biden deflected.
Biden had answered without complaint several prior questions that were unrelated to the storm, including about Overdose Awareness Day, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s health and a potential partial government shutdown.

He can laugh it off with confidence. Trump is facing 91 charges and no one from Biden inc has even received a subpoena.

OK. Corruption and a stolen election.
He’s got the presidential seal and his mama loves him.
His impression of McCarthy is the same as mine.
This is all theater.
After the Teapot Dome scandal, a law was passed which allows Congress to subpoena any American’s tax records they want (including the sitting President).
The Democrats had no reservations about doing this to Trump. He tried fighting it in court but lost. His tax records were given to Congress and immediately leaked to the public.
The Republican’ts (Washington Generals) understand that their role here is to always lose to the Harlem Globetrotters so they haven’t subpoened Bidens tax records.
Of course. With this DOJ and FBI he has nothing to worry about as they are as corrupt as he is.
Mine as well.
