CNN — US heavy metal legends Metallica have been forced to postpone their September 3 concert in Phoenix after announcing that frontman James Hetfield has tested positive for Covid-19.
“We’re very sorry to report that tomorrow’s scheduled M72 date at State Farm Stadium has been postponed to Saturday, September 9, 2023, as, unfortunately, Covid has caught up with James,” the band said in a statement shared on its official account on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.
“We’re extremely disappointed and regret any inconvenience this has caused you. We look forward to returning to complete the M72 No Repeat Weekend in Glendale next Saturday,” the band added.

I wonder if he had the vaccine. If he did, can we all agree that the vaccine did not work...if it doesn’t work, why are we giving them again. I have heard it is just like a common cold. Why the uproar?

Yawn it off. If his symptoms were anywhere near serious, the media would have us all in masks by now.
What we need is the NBA commissioner to cancel basketball season again... That turned the tide last time.
Then again it was the off-season for the NFL and the NFL didn’t skip a beat during Covid... They kept rolling all through it... So if they are locking down, my guess is that they will wait until the middle of February.
They work perfectly. You still get Covid, but you don’t end up in the hospital on a ventilator like those who didn’t get vaccinated end up and likely dead. We had some conservative media folks die of Covid before the vaccines. It was ugly.
my sister and a friend both got the new variant. It’s very mild and they prescribe Paxolovil for this now, so it is gone in a day. I had Ominicron in 2022 and it wasn’t fun, but certainly not as bad as the flu. Three boosters did not prevent it, Fauci lied.
I am done with all vaccines and not just the Covid vaccines. I do not trust the medical establishment at this point.
Too bad Lars Ulrich doesn’t have the Kung Flu.
That being said at least they didn’t require their fans to provide documentation of a Vax. Unlike the Foo Pfizers.
He probably was fake vaxed if he was in any concerts in the last couple years.
As to why the uproar? Pfizer and Moderna need to push more fake vaxes on people and they just got them ready to go for another round of human misery foisted on us by the global cabal.
All they needed was some virus spread talk and the masks and lockdowns come roaring out.

Good for him. I don’t care what kind of cold you’ve got, don’t give it to the people around. Take a couple days, get healthy. He is 60 after all, and has done multiple rounds of rehab, he owes his body a bit of recovery time.

Wife and I saw Lindsey sterling in 102 degree heat at a outdoor stadium. Show was great but you could tell they were suffering in the heat.
As the front man he can’t really sing with a cough and scratchy throat.
