Sounds like a win-win. Deplete huge North Korean stock piles of old Soviet ammo. That leaves much less for them to rain down on South Korea, or our American forces there. And then use them against Ukrainian Nazis?

What’s the sinister part?

That’s from June of this year. Not June of 2022.

It has taken a year for these ass-clowns to admit the reality.

However, here is what they are actually doing, vs their rhetoric.

Were you in a coma during Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya... etc. ?

Yes,and I criticized those. But I don't see the line from those mistakes to Ukraine. I mean, do you think if one country makes a misguided decision, then other countries get to invade somewhere and it's not a mistake? That is a really strange way of thinking.

Probably not. And in desert storm, our forces were firing rounds from the 1950s. We emptied the magazines, there were over 54 different lots of 155 in country. There were so many different lots that it really wasn’t possible to zero barrels with all possible ammunition.
Old artillery ammo fires fine. And the worst case is that your dud rate goes up.
But nice wishful thinking.

I noticed you left our Yugoslavia, Somalia, Kosovo and Yemen, I guess to protect Clinton and Obama.

Not to mention NATO expansion.

Well, that's another issue. Countries are allowed to make agreements. What are we going to invade countries that make agreements we don't like?

Just because the U.N., Soros, and WEF hate NATO doesn't obligate people to do what they want.

"Putin is developing a sinister new plan for victory"

China's already got that covered. It's called a second Joe Biden term.

“I guess to protect Clinton and Obama.”

LOL !

Serbia = Kosovo and Yugoslavia

Yemen wasn’t a major US deployment. Somalia was Bush. Although in the best traditions of the UniParty, Clinton continued it.

Why would they need to smuggle anything when they can get it from the Chinese or Iranians?

Because Iran is not a supplier of the kind of electronics and technology necessary. They smuggle in the parts they use too.

China does not manufacture many of the components used by Russian weapons either. That's why teardowns of Russian weapons show a lot of parts smuggled in from US and European sources.

in terms of ammo and shells, Russian production dwarfs the west.

That must be why Russian soldiers on the ground are complaining about a shortage of artillery rounds and the inability to match incoming shelling rates.

Too many people believe Russian, and probably US defense fantasies about Russian military power. Those myths generated employment for thousands of well paid US defense bureaucrats.

In reality Russia is not nearly so capable. And increasing western production is a good thing.

How could they not barring utter incompetence?

Simple. Russia's military power has been overestimated for a long time. In reality their military has shown to be weak when confronted by a much smaller nation. Of course that nation used to design and make much of the Russian military equipment.

Russia's plan to take over Ukraine in a few days has failed, and over time they will lose the ability to even hold onto Crimea.

--- "Time to retire the American Empire miitary concept, and move to plan B”. I think you mean the Military Industrial Complex dictating much of American foreign policy. You're right.

Well formulated. I concur.

The current MIC isn't defending a southern border being invaded, after all, is it? Almost as if they don't give a damn, as long as THEY get paid.

US stocks are maintained.

But Russian stocks were not (many images of corroded shells were posted from captured stocks), and destroyed a lot of tubes killing numerous crews.

They were not just “old”, but deteriorating shells.

And given the lack of funds in NK, their stocks are likely not maintained either.

So at best, NK stocks are questionable.

“At this point, how is it a victory?”

They hold 18% of the old Ukraine.

They were supposed to hold 100% of Ukraine after a week or two. And some Freepers said they would be occupying Germany and elsewhere shortly after that.
