The Governor has 10% support.

New polling from the Lone Star State shows Ron DeSantis continuing to lose ground to Donald Trump.

The Defend Texas Liberty PAC Texas Statewide 2024 Likely Republican Labor Day Issue Poll shows Trump ahead of the Florida Governor, 61% to 10%, among the 406 likely voters surveyed by CWS Research.

This is by far Trump’s biggest lead over DeSantis in the state. DeSantis was at 13% in July, 19% in June and 23% in May, meaning the Governor has lost more than half his support in the last few months.

From the most recent Morning Consult poll

Hypothetical head-to-head matchups show Biden leading Trump by 2 points and DeSantis by 5 points among the general electorate. Voters are slightly more uncertain about who they would support or say they would opt for “someone else” when Biden is matched up against DeSantis.

I’m just wondering what Ron is going to do when he has to stop wearing clothes with his name on them, so people know who he is.

He's waiting for Trump to go to jail or die. But he would have been so much better off sitting on the sidelines. He's burnt so much goodwill from the base challenging Trump.

It was always going to be Trump. Anything else was wishful thinking. Hubris is a biatch.

Trump consistently outpolling DeSantis, and consistently trailing Biden - and the ‘only Trumpers’ cheer as we head for yet another loss with Trump at the top of the ticket....just like last time?

Remember the ‘red wave’ Trump secured in 2020?

Me neither

‘This is by far Trump’s biggest lead over DeSantis in the state.’

it’s completely pointless to keep pointing this out; the big picture is this; the pubbies have 235 EV’s in hand, regardless of who is the nominee...Trump has no more current EV’s in his back pocket than Nikki Haley, and an argument could be made that another candidate could win PA more easily than Trump...

a cautious reading of the EV map shows dems 241, pubs 235; lose PA, and the pubs need to sweep GA, WI, and AZ while the dems need only win one of those three; you guys figure out the odds...

We’re done here in Texas regarding our choice. Best that DeSantis put his efforts elsewhere, such as 2032 or so.

What’s the point in posting polls when the rigged voting machines can still connect with the National Preemptive Emergency Cellular Network to place votes in the most needed races in the swing states, like the 2020 election showed?
