Please tell me what you would like to see happen. What would you like McCarthy to do? Your answer should be something realistic McCarthy can do with a very slim majority in the House, a minority in the Senate, and a Dem in the WH. Please tell me what you want him to do.
I think that if a new, real conservative party were to form it would replace the GOP practically overnight. So many people would abandon the useless GOP that it become irrelevant as a political organization.
There is great national hunger for a party that stands for something and is willing to fight for it. The GOP will never be that party.
His old squeeze Marjorie Taylor Green has been silent on this McCarthy business, although some articles are claiming she says she is responsible for McCarthy moving forward with the impeachment inquiry. You can’t believe anything you see in print these days.
McCarthy is as bad as I thought he'd be. Leopards don't change their spots.
That's why I'll never register as a Republican again. I will no longer compromise my values, and belong to a party that doesn't respect their constituents. The GOP can be likened to a bunch of self-serving, spoiled brats. The only time they know you is when they want something from you. They are nothing more than users.

LOL!! Even when they've had a large majority in both Houses, they've still rolled over for the Democrats. It's call "going along to get along," and Republicans excel in it. Congressional Republicans, even when they have electoral wins, turn them into losses. They have rarely, if ever asserted themselves against the Democrats, despite having larger majorities. It's happened over and over.

Same here. I left after January 6th. Had been a registered Republican for over 40 years. Will never go back. Frankly, I don't know how any true Conservative can remain registered in the party.
Not sure the democrats would want to oust him. They know they have a democrat-lite republican in McCarthy - a known quantity.
