This fact annihilates one of the key arguments against Trump: the idea he has no chance of winning the 2024 general presidential election.
In the RCP poll of polls, Biden tops Trump nationally by less than a single percentage point. Currently, His Fraudulency earns 44.6 percent support compared to Trump’s 43.8 percent.
What’s more —and this is important — Trump is in better shape against Biden than he ever was during the 2020 election. Throughout that entire election, Biden’s lead never dropped below four points.
Equally important is the fact that throughout the 2016 campaign, former first lady Hillary Clinton had a 3.2-point poll lead over Trump on Election Day and beat Trump by 2.1 points in the national popular vote but still lost the election. Hillary maintained a steady three- to four-point lead over Trump throughout that campaign, except for three brief moments.
DeSantis is losing to Biden by 4.7 points in the RCP poll of national polls. He’s doing almost four points worse against Biden than Trump.
Since late July, DeSantis has not led Biden in a single national poll. Slow Joe has maintained a steady lead from four to six points in the last eight polls.
In the last eight polls, Trump has led Biden in three.
If you believe the polls, as of right now, Trump is in a much, much better position to win the general election than DeSantis.

So if you care about beating Joe Biden and the future of our country, this is good news because, as of today, Trump is walking away with the GOP nomination. Nationally, he’s 40.1 points ahead of second place DeSantis (53.6 percent to 13.5 percent).

Anyway, what lie about Trump was posted by a DeSantis supporter in the past 24 hours? I've sure haven't seen one.

Trump is ahead by 0.4 in the RCP National Average which includes a pollster whose last 2020 poll overestimated Biden by 7.5; another pollster by 6.5; two pollsters by 5.5.
Adjust for this hackery, and Trump's lead is now a clear 3-4 points!

The polls could show 100% of the voters in favor of Trump, and the fraudulent election machines and ballots will still show Traitorjoe as the winner. And that will be supported by corrupt election officials and judges, and Demonicrat and RINOcrat state officials.

I’d be happier if we could get them to drop the Trump DeSantis issue and concentrate on forcing their party to rid itself of Uni Party Rinos like Kevin Mccarthy. Would take some doing because too many GOP rank and file would have to actually give a shit about something other than the party status quo.

They initially claimed the change in the law was for security purposes, but since the guy walks around all the time in apparel with his name on it, that puts that lie to rest.
You are 1000% correct about Ron D. I think my overall point was made awkwardly. In addition to all Ron is, would you agree or disagree that he is a useful deflection from GOP problems, especially when thrown against Trump, the elites biggest threat?
My logic for this today arrives from the news that Romney is retiring, and Matt Goetz comments on the House Floor about McCarthy’s leadership of promise much do nothing unless forced.
There are very deep problems in the GOP yet the arguments remain Trump v DeSantis at least here on FR. Realistically the nomination has been over since the day Trump announced. So why would big money elites push this candidate (Ron) to continue fighting it out if not to deflect from something more egregious they don’t want discussed?
Feedback appreciated because I feel my focus will benefit from other respected points of view.
