I agree too.
Trump is not polling 50 points ahead of DeSantis because he’s entitled - it’s because he has earned the overwhelming support of likely Republican voters.
The way things were initially being marketed for DeSantis and with all of Pres Trump’s legal issues, it sure seemed like DeSantis and his team were positioning him to be ‘entitled’ to the Republican nomination. For what reason, folks need to really ask.
The man hasn’t really done anything more than sign bills the Florida legislature has put on his desk and got in front of a podium to engage the press.
About the only thing I can think of that is a good decision on his part is getting that doctor to be the Florida version of the Surgeon General.
He’s right, of course.

NOBODY this go-around has earned the right to be POTUS more than President Trump!!!
Ron DeSantis has earned the right to stay in Florida and govern his state like he signed on to do. Not now, but after he has kept the faith with the citizens of Florida, THEN maybe he can think about some higher post. But I’m afraid he has damaged himself to the point that even his governorship is in danger of capsizing — let alone any future Presidential nom. Sad!

If your home and bank accounts were robbed and looted, and then all of it was recovered, would be it be OK with you if they just gave it all to someone else?
