The survey, which examined the sentiments of 850 likely Republican primary voters in the Granite State, found former President Donald Trump as the dominant frontrunner, having a 28-point lead, garnering 42 percent support.
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley came in second place with 14 percent, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie came in four points behind with ten percent support.
In this particular survey, DeSantis — who has failed to make a dent in Trump’s lead nationally or in individual states — fell to fourth place and is in single digits with eight percent support.
Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott tied with five percent support, followed by four percent who chose North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum. The remaining candidates saw one percent support or less:

Insider Advantage reported that it is “becoming ironically clear that the 45th president has roughly a forty-five percent floor in this overall contest.” Further, this survey observed that Trump actually struggles the most with white men over the age of 65.
Per Insider Advantage: “We have seen this in numerous surveys and it certainly runs contrary to conventional wisdom. Ironically, men supply Nikki Haley with more support than do female respondents. Women support Trump in larger numbers than do male voters.”

Actually I was in the trenches in 1976 fighting hard for Ronald Reagan when he challenged Gerald Ford for the GOP nomination. It was Reagan (who won two landslide elections) who voiced the 11th commandment “Never speak ill of a fellow Republican”. Trump didn’t get that note, as he spent $25M in despicable attack ads (from the left) against DeSantis earlier this year. Most recently he attacked DeSantis for being too Pro-life. What’s next?

Been posting here since last yr that Ronnie should sit this one out. This run has ruined his 2028 prospects. Just as predicted. Vivek now is the bright face and Ron is now a known face unlike if he waited for 2028.
Ron is done now Matt Gaetz would even trounce him in a Seanate primary if he tries that.
What about it? They (not Trump alone) got rid of Comey, McCabe, Strozk, pretty much all of them behind that. Then Trump went and appointed his own AG and his own FBI director, who were no better!
The fake impeachments?
I think the Ukraine phone call was ridiculous but the one over J6 was much more of a legitimate inquiry. McConnell bailed him out on it because he was already set to leave office, but Trump's approval went from a strong 90% of Republicans to 50% overnight, where it still sits. We lost some great posters here on FR that day, posters who had been pro-Trump, but realized that was indefensible.
Fake inictments?
A lot of them are a stretch but not every one. It's about half and half when you actually read the laws. Sure, Hillary got away with some of the same stuff, but that was because Trump decided way back when he was President-ELECT he was going to let her slide, so that's on him too. He's goaded most of these charges on himself as well, which doesn't make him very sympathetic in my book. Can't wait till he takes the stand and insults the judge in person. An obviously ignorant, ineffective, counter-productive move, done just for looks, but that's who he is.
Desantis has a conservative voting record, anti-woke history as governor, and as I’ve shown time and time again the elites, Dems and deep state actually hate him.
