I grew up in a rural community, began my career as an organizer in small towns, and now lead one of the largest efforts to rebuild pro-democracy, pro-worker civic capacity in rural America. So I can speak with some authority when I say that President Biden, somewhat surprisingly, has ushered in a new economic paradigm that can radically transform the lives of rural people and build a more politically and economically secure future for all Americans.

He calls his agenda “Bidenomics,” a term that will be hotly debated in the months ahead. But what does it mean? And what’s its significance for rural people?

Food trucks and small roadside fruit/vegetable stands, and farmers’ markets are all busy because it’s mostly all cash, and free entertainment walking around and buying little. Because no one has money

I stopped reading at “pro democracy”. I know the person isn’t making a serious point after that.

Oh, my...! She’s blowing the smoke she inhaled. Then she writes sweet nothings about unicorns and rainbows.

This is so “1984” — revisionism on the fly. She failed to mention that ALL of the overtures toward farmers were earmarked for black people on farms (whether they’re actually farming or not). She also failed to mention the Cadaver’s taking of farm and ranch lands out of production over environmental concerns. She also failed to mention that infrastructure improvements (if any) have gone almost to the cities, not the rural outlying areas.

Winston Smith could not have matched this lady’s glosses.

Her ‘Community’ should have ended this treat nyears ago.

I DRIVE LESS THAN 4000 miles a year.

MY VEHICLE INSURANCE HAS GONE UP 20% in 9 months.

FROM $120 a month to $144 a month for 2 vehicles—1979 & 1976 vintage.

APPARENTLY ALL the highjacked & stolen vehicles are bein g paid for by all of us.

HOW MUCH will 67 MILLION airbag replacements cost all of us???

Nothing screams “pro-worker” more than hiring 80,000 new IRS agents to go after anyone making more than $600 on eBay selling used baby clothes and kitchen utensils so they can afford to put gas in their car.
