A transit system run by the town of Jackson and Teton County set out to replace its diesel buses with electric, but none of the eight electric buses in its fleet are running, and the company that made them went bankrupt.
Teton County and the town of Jackson had set its sights on a low-emission transit system for the county.

Then don’t think of them as buses. Remove the batteries. Then reclassify them as small migrant hotels.
As the old saying goes, if life hands you lemons, make lemonade.
Will there be a hazardous warning symbol label placed on all EV batteries?
well technically they’ve achieved their goals of carbon neutral since they are not running. lol
Solyndra repeated.
“Jackson Hole”
There are several school districts in Michigan that went all electric buses. Have not heard reports about those vehicles yet.
Albuquerque made the same mistake, Indianapolis , after being warned by Albuquerque, bought the chinnese busses and had to replace them with diesel.
The technology is not there yet.
If it was all good news they would most likely be bragging about it by now. They never publicize bad news.
I note that Proterra only manufactured a total of 199 busses, so Jackson Hole’s fleet represents 19.6% of the company’s lifetime sales. And none of them work.

No. However, people who mention the dangers of EVs will be censored for spreading “disinformation”.
It gets mighty cold in Jackon Hole Wyoming; home to Dick Cheney and his lovely daughter. I wonder if they had to add heaters to the stoplights there like in Michigan.
Yet? Lol
Million bucks a copy. Is that 10 times what a diesel would cost? Maybey 7 times? Diesel buses that would give you a million miles and work cold or hot weather.
hahaha “macroeconomic headwinds” that is what the dude said they ran into! hahahaha. Another biden endorsed bankrupt company,er startup!.
I looked it up. A diesel city bus new is around 300k. So you can buy three diesel for the cost of one electric. Diesel have existing Infrastructure to fuel while electric has lots of hidden costs.
Been the same for 20 years now. The busses sit unable to be used, but must stay there to comply with the free money. So they just sit and rot. Any municipality that purchases these busses should be prosecuted for malfeasance and misappropriation. The product history and performance has been well established as abysmal.
