Okay, I laughed at the site, but Tess Bonn, offered a decent summary for the four that are or may be vying for speaker. Jordon may be like by some, but I seem him weakest for his ties to McCarthy and his lack of results as chairman. All talk, no action. We need better.

We need better. .. who can win a House vote. Name that person. Not who you would want, but who would win a vote with the House GOP.

Matt Gaetz led the revolution. He managed to persuade the entire Demonrat caucus to dump their own RINO sympathizer who delivered on their agenda and not Conservatives’. That is sheer brilliance. When I saw Newtie ripping into him, I knew this guy was solid gold.

The Obstructionist Democrats must be made to pay for their move against the GOP Caucus and destruction of House Republican unity.

How are any of these guys different from McCarthy?

I don't want Scalise, and I think Donalds is a real stretch. He'd mainly be a token black dude in that position, since he was only elected in 2020 and needs more seasoning to take any kind of leadership role.
Jim Jordan might be the one guy who has credibility and respect across the entire GOP caucus in the House.

Any Speaker will be in a precarious position. One disagreement with Gaetz, and Gaetz and 6 or 7 Repubs can run to the Dems and have the Speaker thrown out.

Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy
Oh yeah, then the Uniparty can spend the next 13 months bragging & campaigning about their “First Africanamerican” Speaker of the House. Until the Democrats win the House again in November.

If they want a non-member who can unite Republicans, maybe they should go to Long Island and talk to Lee Zeldin.

The only ones likely to get 216 votes are Scalise, Emmer or maybe Stephanik.
