Interviewing Biden ‘the saddest thing’ as he ‘couldn’t finish his sentences,’ ex-ESPN host Sage Steele says

Former ESPN host Sage Steele said that interviewing President Biden was “the saddest thing” because he seemed confused and “couldn’t finish his sentences.”

“He struggled,” Steele said of the oldest president in US history, who “trailed off” on topics even more than two years ago....

“It was satellite, it wasn’t in person,” she explained, noting that they were having technical issues and she had to stall the chief executive as they waited for the issues to be resolved.

“So I had to, like, BS. I had to chitchat, waiting for us to start rolling.”

Steele said she could not see the president as his staffers kept a lens cover over the camera “until the last second, but you can hear and we’re chitchatting.

“So I can hear him and he goes, ‘What is this for? Wait — what’s her name?’” Steele recounted.

“I was going, ‘Oh my God!’ And then [an aide] said, ‘SportsCenter, ESPN.’ And he goes, ‘Oh, OK.’”

At that point, the president started to tell her about his own football career. In high school, Biden was a standout halfback and wide receiver. He also briefly played football as a freshman at the University of Delaware.

“And so he started to tell football stories of his greatness,” Steele recounted, noting she still could not see him.

“He goes, ‘I have the best hands.’ What do you say to that?” Steele asked.

“And here’s the saddest thing — his voice just trailed off. He said, ‘I was good,’ and then he went silent, and he goes …, ‘Uh, never mind.’

Probably couldn’t finish the prison sentence he deserves, either. He really should just drop dead.

I'll bet he boasted that he scored the winning touchdown on every play, "No joke!"

Then again President Sniffer Biden could be playing up his dementia so he can leave the consequences of taking bribes his whole career to his ‘much loved’ son... the gullible fall guy, Hunter.

The only thing “sad” about this is that the crooked cretin is occupying Don Trump’s office.

Sympathy for that SOB is entirely misplaced. Think about all the people he’s imprisoned, screwed out of jobs, terrorized with his buddy Garland in charge of ‘restin Whitey, it goes on and on.

No sympathy whatsoever. Aren’t enough malicious adjectives in English to describe the disgusting IRA gangbanger from nothingtown.

I’ve know plenty of people in their 80s and 90s who were active and sharp. It is a lie that his issue is just due to age.

All Americans need to get real and admit Biden cannot perform the duties of his office, same as Feinstein was and same as others.

I think Joe’s too much of an arrogant prick to want anyone to think he’s dumb and/or demented. At this point, his sole reason for holding on is probably to save Hunter’s sorry ass. And he’d likely be the worst ham actor, ever, if he were acting.

I think the Democrats will replace him at the Convention. Perhaps with Michelle.

But, if he makes it to the general election, he will be expected to debate Trump. I will admit that Biden did not crash and burn in the 2020 debates the way I expected him to. But in 2024, I think he will be manifestly impaired.

Hi ClearCase. Good point, “ But in 2024, I think he will be manifestly impaired”, but may I point out that it is 2023 and he IS manifestly impaired!

Yeah, I agree with you... but the part about saving Hunter’s ass is probably not his concern as much as fear that if Hunter talks the whole Biden Crime Family goes down ... Not the legacy President Sniffer wants to leave the world - first President to be a Benedict Arnold...

What’s the difference between Biden and the ‘second story thief’ who teaches his son how to get into the smaller upstairs windows to unlock the front door?

If you want to avoid a legacy like that, you ought to conduct yourself honorably. Clearly, that’s not an option. Second choice...hope for a successful cover-up. A long-shot, at best.
