Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) on Sunday blasted Israel’s “occupation” policies while saying she grieves those killed as violence engulfed the region following Hamas’ unprecedented incursion from Gaza.
Tlaib — the first Palestinian-American sworn into Congress back in 2019 — issued the statement slamming Israel as an “apartheid” state after some of her fellow “Squad” members sparked controversy Saturday for urging a ceasefire in the Middle East.

This would be a gret time for Kevin McCarthy to stand up to the squad and call them out. He’s got a lot of extra time now that he’s not speaker but just an ordinary congress critter.

Last time I checked, I was elected 8 years BEFORE her -- in 2011 -- and my family lived in Ramla until they were forcibly expelled by Israeli soldiers during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. I hate Israel just as much as she does! The only difference is I used to use "I'm just votin' the way the constitution tells me to" excuse to hide my pro-terrorist voting record! After all, Arabs can live in Israel and even be Israeli citizens, but Jews are not allowed to live in areas controlled Hamas (except for the hostages still left alive). or, for that matter in most Arab countries.
