THIS.

All of this mess lands at Hakeem's feet along with Gaetz. Without the colluding Democrats, McCarthy is still Speaker and the People's business continues.

The people’s business wasn’t being done with McCarthy as speaker.

The Deep States business was being done.....

The people's business wasn't being done. McCarthy was working with Democrats, raising the debt limit and passing the CR.

You have it backwards. The mess was McCarthy working with Democrats.

No, this is the result of McCarthy's broken promises. He lied through his ass to get the Speakership on the 15th ballot, then he broke nearly every promise he made.

It’s not up to the minority party to elect the Speaker....it’s solely up to the majority party. In this case, a minority of the majority is holding the House hostage. There is no way we would want Republicans to help Pelosi be elected speaker if 8 Dems didn’t/wouldn’t vote for Pelosi.

There is no chance Dems are going to vote for Jordan. If Jordan is going to become Speaker, it’s up to Republicans.

And you don't see the problem with that? Its bettor off shutdown then with a rino/lib as the speaker. Far as i'm concerned they can keep it shutdown until the next election, where we will elect more MAGA conservatives.

Rather than blame “colluding Democrats,” take a look at the history of the speakership and try to find ONE example of where the minority has provided the winning margin for the majority’s speaker.

This mess can be attributed solely to the House Republican caucus being a snakepit of undisciplined nihilists.
