Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said during multiple campaign events over the weekend that the United States should not allow any Palestinians from inside Gaza to seek refuge in the U.S.
The Republican presidential candidate made the remarks after Hamas, a Palestinian Islamic terrorist organization, murdered more than 1,300 Israelis last week and injured 3,000+ more in the deadliest day in Israel’s history.
“I don’t know what Biden’s gonna do, but we cannot accept people from Gaza into this country as refugees,” DeSantis told supporters at a rally in Iowa on Saturday. “I am not going to do that. If you look at how they behave, not all of them are Hamas, but they are all anti-Semitic. None of them believe in Israel’s right to exist.”
DeSantis noted that “none of the Arab states are willing to take any of them” and that those countries are the ones that should ultimately be responsible for helping Palestinian Arabs.
“You don’t fly people and import them into the United States of America,” he said. “So we’re going to be very strong on that. And I think about our country, you see these demonstrations supporting Hamas in the United States of America. How did we get to the point where people are out there doing that — you get reports of babies being murdered, all this other stuff — and your first instinct is to go out and praise the terrorists who perpetrated that? You have students at Harvard signing letters, praising Hamas for doing it.”

DeSantis is correct. A lot of republican presidential candidates will agree with this, but he is the first one to officially make that statement.
Now, all the other candidates will to some degree sound as though they are copying or reacting to him. Usually, it’s Trump who stakes the first claim of a position on some particular topic. Can’t win em’ all.

Remember, please, we taxpayers paid around $200,000 total for several years of government entitlement the extended family and the two Boston Marathon bombers before they maimed and killed innocent Americans. So we paid for their bomb materials indirectly. And Rolling Stone put a kissable flattering rock star cover photo of the chief murderer on an issue.
Yes, DeSantis is correct. And so we should rally around the only person with this view who can actually win in 2024.
That person is not Ron DeSantis - he has no chance to take the GOP nomination. That person is Donald Trump.
Don’t get me wrong! I’m not a Trump fanatic. I see his many flaws. And he’s not my first choice for 2024. I’d rather see Rand Paul lead the party into the future.
But I’m also a realist. In the GOP primaries Trump is way ahead, everywhere. So barring some wild off-the-wall event, he is going to be our 2024 GOP nominee.
So it’s time to put our differences aside, and get behind our presumptive nominee.

DeSantis' campaign has been a total disaster, and he is doing his best to receover from it, with very substantive comments that are unique in the GOP field. Even Nikky Haley today said she would welcome rapefugees from Gaza. Insane.
Meanwhile the House GOP disarray goes on another week, not looking good going into 2024. Do they even WANT to be in the majority?
