Remarkable Details – Matt Gaetz Gives Details of Backroom Machiavelli Tactics Triggered by Kevin McCarthy During House GOP Conference

This is deep weeds inside baseball, but boy howdy does it tell a story. Representative Matt Gaetz (MAGA, FL) goes through the details of yesterday’s House republican conference assembly as they select a Speaker nominee.

What Gaetz reveals in detail is how Kevin McCarthy has been working the conference to undermine any other Speaker candidate so that McCarthy would be renominated as the only possible alternative. The insight and details are really interesting. This is a must watch.

He’s part of the solution. Not the problem.

Are you kidding?! McCarthy deserves to be piled on. He is and always was a self-serving snake.

Opinion: As House speaker, Mike Johnson is as dangerous as Jim Jordan

If you are feeling any sense of relief that Jim Jordan won’t be the next House speaker, stop and worry again. The new speaker, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), might be more dangerous than the firebrand Ohio Republican. For Jordan’s shirt sleeves demeanor and wrestler’s pugnacity, substitute a bespectacled, low-key presentation, a law degree and an unswerving commitment to conservative dogma and former president Donald Trump.

This is not an upgrade. It is Jordan in a more palatable package — evidently smoother, seemingly smarter and, therefore, potentially more effective.

Johnson, now serving his fourth term in Congress, was the moving force behind a Supreme Court brief that helped lay the shoddy intellectual groundwork for Jan. 6, 2021. In December 2020, he rallied fellow Republican lawmakers to support Texas’s brazen bid to overturn the election results.

In a lawsuit that fizzled almost as soon as it was filed, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sought to have the Supreme Court intervene in the election by blocking the certification of electoral college votes in four swing states — Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin — where voting rules had been changed in the course of the election and voters, not coincidentally, had favored Joe Biden.

The justices swiftly rejected the case, tartly noting that, “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections.”

Anything that hurts liberals is good. Conservatives have been treated like dirt for thirty years by these leftist and time and again had offers of friendship and working together thrown back in their faces by these elitist pricks. To hell with them, they need to be exposed for being the bottom dwellers of politics.

Lot of gobblety goop but a good yarn if you want to know how the sausage is made.

I really hate politicians these days.

Yes, I watched it; if true, Matt Gaetz is a true hero. I did think McCarthy was a terrible choice as Speaker; smarmy, slick, and a total RINO, but he made some really good promises, which were, as we found out, all lies. What Matt Gaetz did was courageous and shocking. That we got an apparently decent man for Speaker, considering the duplicity of Washington, is nothing short of a miracle. And we can thank Matt Gaetz for that.

There was an article a few days ago about how badly the deep state did not want Jim Jordan two heartbeats away from being POTUS. This article implies that the left considers Johnson to be a similar threat.

GOOD!

Conspirator Gaetz is not to be believed or trusted. He sided with Jeffries and caused this chaos. He’s no hero.

The only reason for the USSC ruling was that Texas was over the target with a bomb sight dead on. USSC just didn't want to continue a constitutional crisis that had already begun during the election and came to a crescendo at 0300 the morning after election night.

Texas had standing just as did every other state who had their preference in president negated by the criminality of Pennslylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin. The votes of these states should have rightly been rejected.

There were too many cowards in the house and spinate to do the right thing. Pence is one of them.

where voting rules had been changed in the course of the election

The WaPo conveniently forgot to mention that these voting rules were changed by courts or SOSs. This was completely illegal because the requirement was that only the state legislatures can change the voting rules.

I know right? McCarthy sucks!

He was part of those worthless “Young Guns” and we finally got him out of leadership. There were about ten congressional races we would have won had that POS McCarthy gave them any money.

Same goes to McConnell, he needs to go too.

I LOVE Matt Gaetz!
