I always assume most Americans have served. I meet many who have served and I have served. Female Army JAG here.
The sigh of relief in Maine will create gale force winds here in Pennsylvania.
I bet they dozed him with enough psychotropic drugs to activate him like most of the mass shooters.
The invasion of Israel was causing people to understand the need for self defense. Anyone ever look at the drugs and money? There have been many investigations about the drugs handed out like candy… but what event triggered it.
Many schizophrenics hear voices. My mother was medicated into o schizophrenia.
The only reason that the human race has survived this long is because of procreation because there’s just way too many stupid people out there.
It’s a sheer numbers game.
I haven’t filled out any Doctor paperwork lately, are they still asking if you own any guns ?
Another failure of government authorities to protect the public from a known unstable individual.
“Katie Card, who is married to Card’s brother, told NBC News on Thursday that their family alerted both police and Card’s Army Reserve base that he was experiencing what she described as an “acute” mental health episode in the weeks before Wednesday’s shooting”
His obvious plan was suicide. Why did he have to destroy so many lives before doing so?
Funny...I don't remember anything about where he worked etc etc..
My first thought, too.

The share of the U.S. population with military experience is declining. In 2018, about 7% of U.S. adults were veterans, down from 18% in 1980, according to the Census Bureau. This drop coincides with decreases in active-duty personnel. Over the past half-century, the number of people on active duty has dropped significantly, from 3.5 million in 1968, during the military draft era, to about 1.4 million (or less than 1% of all U.S. adults) in today’s all-volunteer force. The draft ended in 1973.
Should have done this FIRST!
Or, and this is just a theory, he was batshit crazy. And someone should have taken away his firearms.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best one.

Wow. That’s shocking to me. Most of the people I hang around have served. Attorneys. Business owners.
Big drop in recruits these days.
I surmise this guy had severe bi-polar disorder.
Losing his job triggered a massive fit of rage, and then after it subsided, he realized what he had done. The only thing to do at this point was to commit Arkancide.
MK Ultra victim.
America is in physical and mental distress. Now, hatred, violence, rioting, division, financial struggle, war, sexual dysfunction, is an everyday way of life. It affects us all but for those who have mental issues, living is the enemy.
The big numbers of WW II veterans have died.
The military is smaller.
Volunteer enlistments are usually longer than the 2 years draftees served, so fewer volunteers are needed.
Well at least he will continue to vote Democrat.
Except Satan isn't in hell yet.
