Every state capital I have ever been to has many “public transportation riders”.

Souds to me - from the store addresses in the reporet, like the store closings are with underfoming stores. All the locations listed in the report are upstate, in the Albany/Troy area or north, west or south of Albany. None are in the Metro-NYC area.

https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/central-ny/news/2023/07/31/what-s-behind-upstate-new-york-s-alarming-migration-trends-

“In the decade leading up to the pandemic, 37 of the 50 upstate counties lost population,”

The democrats are totally responsible for this. They allowed looting and stealing. They let criminals go free. The underclass didn’t wait long before helping themselves to all the “free” things.

Meanwhile, we waited in the checkout line with our credit and loyalty cards ready.

The Central Ave. locations, petty crime, but not horrible. The other locations are middle to upper-middle class government workers. Probably has more to do with competition from Price Chopper and labor shortages.
