"Sometimes you get information from an interrogated - and within an hour a target is already marked": investigations of Hamas terrorists are revealed
Many terrorists who participated in the Hamas attack and were captured alive are currently sitting in the interrogation rooms of the Shin Bet • They are now used as critical intelligence sources, and provide information that may save lives and even help the IDF in combat • Senior officials and former investigators in the Shin Bet told News 12 about what is happening in the investigations - and what An investigator is required to extract a confession from the interrogated • "Playing the song 'Meni Mamtera' for terrorists non-stop - not by chance"

Thousands of tons of explosives have been detonated on the Strip for three and a half weeks. To the bank of targets known to intelligence, many new targets were added, while fighting. In most cases, the intelligence information came out of the Shin Bet's interrogation rooms. Hundreds of Hamas terrorists, even Nukhba, who hold a lot of information, were caught that Black Sabbath.

Ofir Malka, a former Shin Bet investigator, explained to News 12: "A lot of very critical, essential and life-saving information came from these investigations. Information that talks about infrastructures, manhunts and tunnels and serves the army right now - sometimes you get information from an interrogator and within an hour a target is already marked." Israel Hasson, a former senior member of the Shin Bet, added: "An interrogator in a war is necessarily a ticking bomb, because any piece of information at such a time can to save lives and influence the outcome of a battle or campaign."
"Clear the houses and take as many prisoners as possible"
Shin Bet investigators are sitting in front of terrorists, some of whom just before murder, burned.. even raped. And now, they need to be broken, mentally in the city. "Many times there is a problem of identity. They don't know the people, they don't know who they are," Malka shared. "They are terrorists who were trained to impersonate." However, some of the captured terrorists were not even threatened. One of them confessed almost immediately that the order given to them was, in his words: "Clear the houses and kidnap as many prisoners as possible."

Shalom Ben Hanan, a former senior member of the Shin Bet, said: "An investigator will try to find every detail, every possible weakness, every piece of information that can be cross-referenced. The cracking is mainly mental-psychological cracking. This is not what you see in the movies - these investigations are conducted under the law, and in general, I would say that the use of physical measures is not sure to bring the desired result." Hasson added: "Nobody gives up all the information they have, certainly not voluntarily. In the investigation there is a concept that says: 'If a lemon was smart, it would give all its juice without being squeezed' - that's how it was investigated."
The investigators also noted that there is a stricture that the interrogators see versions do not match and will even be isolated until the investigation is concluded. However, there are exceptional cases: in the first days of the war, a video was circulated in which the terrorists are seen being forced to listen for hours to a song by "Meni Mamtera" - this is no accident. Hasson explained: "Playing music during interrogations is intended, on the one hand, to prevent dialogue between the interrogated, and on the other hand, not to allow them to enter a state of peace - the goal is to cause them to be in a state of constant stress in preparation for the continuation of the investigation."

"To look a person in the eyes, disconnect the emotion and investigate"
For all these, it is impossible not to disconnect from the story the interrogator - the one who was exposed days and even hours before, to the monstrous actions of his subjects. "You have to detach yourself emotionally from this situation and enter the mode of an analytical interrogator," said Malka. "To look a person in the eyes, disconnect the emotion and investigate." Ben Hanan emphasized: "If the interrogated asks for a cup of coffee and a cigarette to confess - you will give him a cup of coffee and a cigarette. If what works for him is precisely the warm character of the investigator, then the investigator will act this way, even if what he feels inside is a tremendous storm of emotions - because he is sitting in front of a despicable murderer."
As time passes and the war deepens, it can be assumed that the march of those interrogated from Gaza will only increase, and with it, human and quality intelligence will be discovered, which will be produced for the benefit of the campaign's success.
It is very important to realize that Hamas terrorists can cough up names of people they simply have a grudge against.
Using technology-based tracing is more reliable.
Not much difference than what a good trial lawyer does when deposing an adverse witness under severe cross examination. I’ve seen adverse witnesses soak their shirts in sweat and others requiring ambulances.
We have our methods....”
Unfortunately, after the Israelis have gotten what info they can from these animals, I don’t believe they’ll be eligible for Israel’s very restrictive capital punishment law.
Squeeze them till they have nothing left. Then kill them. Toss the bodies back into Gaza to rot.
Gaza needs to be destroyed completely and utterly.

Pray for the well-being of Shin Bet. The psychological burden they bear is intense.
Prayers up for Israel.
That’s a shame....on Israel.
“..cough up names of people they simply have a grudge against...”
not unusual, but realizing this and sharing it with other interrogators, information can be gained to turn the “grudgee” and obtain valuable information.
I hope that the IDF plays “Hatikvah” at 130 DB 24x7, while they attack. It would be unsettling to them, and perhaps the hostages will hear it!
Would "Ride of the Valkyries" be ironic?
What? No “I want my lawyer”?/sarc
“Pray for the well-being of Shin Bet. The psychological burden they bear is intense.”
A burden that is shared by all that seek and render “justice” during war time. And this is, after all, a holy war (good vs. evil).
>> this is, after all, a holy war (good vs. evil).
Yes and Amen
And the reply is:
...”you’ll get your phone call...what was it your Imam guided you ...you were saying?”
Amen
