Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his nation on Friday evening that he had refused the Biden administration’s request for a “pause” in fighting, ostensibly for humanitarian purposes.
Netanyahu recounted that he had met earlier in the day with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and showed him footage of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7. (Breitbart News was among the first to review that footage last week in Israel.)
He continued: “I conveyed to him that we are continuing with all our might. Israel refuses a temporary ceasefire that does not include the liberation of our hostages. Israel will not allow fuel into the Gaza Strip, and opposes the transfer of money into the Strip.”
President Joe Biden and the White House have called for a “pause” in fighting, supposedly to allow for humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip and to allow space for Hamas to free some of the 241 hostages it is believed to hold.
However, humanitarian aid continues to enter Gaza from the South, evan as fighting rages in the north, and Hamas has not promised to release hostages if the fighting pauses. Its only offer is to release hostages in exchange for all of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails — including those who carried out the October 7 atrocities.

In reality, nothing. The pause request is for humanitarian purposes for Palestinians, which Hamas doesn't even care about. It's basically Biden and the pro muslim lobby that is pushing for a pause.

Netanyahu is of course correct. But I wonder how Hamas can really be crushed. Their fighters will just melt into the civilian population if/when Israeli ground troops arrive.
Perhaps I’m missing something. But it seems to me that this will be a very difficult nut to crack. The only solution I can think of is an Israeli occupation of Gaza. And what a mess that would be.

The problem for HAMAS is they have already raped tortured and murdered many of them. Once the truth of that is out, then the military campaign will begin again and no one will support HAMAS. So, it isn’t going to happen.

I’m sick of this humanitarian purposes stuff. Hamas is the duly elected government of the people in Gaza. Gazans support Hamas in word, money and deed. They deserve no quarter.

The Israeli government knows a lot about the people of Gaza.
The people with fuel and electricity are likely to be Hamas.
If a family member disappears, the disappearance will be noted.
If someone does not use a cell phone, that will be noted.
Then there are the big wigs living abroad. Brakes will fail. Tires will blow out on the highway. Others will get cancer from chemicals.
