When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found it was feared that like the game “telephone” in which party goers are told to repeat something by whispering to each person in a circle, and the first message ends up humorously garbled, the ancient scriptures and fragments would probably show many mistakes in the hand written scrolls copied in modern synagogues.
Not so. The ancient letters were surprisingly accurate and unchanged after all those years.
