Working a rural Kentucky polling place which will probably go 70-30 Cameron. Very brisk turnout here.
He did. But he changed to saying he would sign for the exceptions. Still, Beshear ran the commercials. I’m 100% Pro-Life and don’t believe there should be exceptions. At least bring the child to birth and give him or her up for adoption. I don’t believe a child should be punished with death because of the sin/crime of his or her father. Abortion even in these circumstances can leave physical and/or psychological scars on the woman though this is covered up. In a debate Beshear said he has always favored “reasonable” restrictions against “late-term” abortions. So what would constitute an unreasonable restriction on late-term abortion? The commercials and the situation is disgusting. The candidate who weakened from a 100% to 98% Pro-Life position is portrayed as a demon on the issue by the Governor who wants to leave a crack in the window for infanticide.
>> I have a friend in KY that says a lot of women she knows fawn over Andy and think he is hot.
Figures that it’s the women voters who have been seduced into the evil that is DemonRat progressivism.
It was that way in 2022 also... young slutty women and their God-forsaken “abortion on demand”.
wait till the 3 am Biden algorithm kicks in
Cameron is a better looking guy.
I was able to convince me wife to change her vote this morning! Until now, NOTHING has worked. She likes Beshear, and she doesn’t like Daniel.
I tried to talk about Covid, I tried talking about allowing boys to compete in sports against our granddaughters.... nothing worked. What did?
When I warned her that, If/When McConnell dies, Beshear has SAID he would ignore Ky law and appoint a Democrat Senator.... at a time when control of the US Senate might well be a 1-vote majority.
I told her, “I LIKE Beshear too... probably more than Daniel. But, the US Senate was too important to put at risk. Beshear doesn’t really matter here anyway, since we have veto-proof majority in BOTH state houses”
She said she would switch.
But then, she might has said that just to shut me up?
With women, who knows?
No... he's publicly stated he would sign a bill with those exceptions. But, he has NOT campaigned on that or put it in ads.
White, liberal women are just bat shit crazy. I say this as white, conservative woman.
Ooooo…that’s untrust loyalty. In other words she’s lying. That’s one thing I always tell my husband vote for whatever you want but don’t lie to me. Women have a way of sensing things. Friend y’all better get a marriage counselor fast. Who knows how many times she’s lied to you in the past and kept it a secret? Now on to the matter at hand of the election of all these states …be prepared for heartache. I do not expect a victory in any of these states because fraud is so rampant and uncontrollable and our RNC is worth shit. Our fat collagen, lip, blob and RNC ARE worthless.
HAHA!! I think that women....don’t pay attention. My wife let’s me tell her who to vote for....She’s got better things to do.
WOW!
LOL I was kidding about that last line... I think she told me the truth.
Last night, she told me she wasn’t going to vote at all because she didn’t want to cancel out my vote. I told her, “No way”.... she should definitely vote, for whoever she wanted. There are other races to vote on too, that are also important.
Then, we started talking about WHY we were voting each way. And, I basically told her.... “If not for the Senate appointment, I might well have voted for Beshear too..” I meant it. He hasn’t been awful. And, we have super-majorities in both houses. We can, and HAVE over-ridden any stupid veto. He can’t do all that much harm.
But, the potential to change the balance of the Senate was too big a risk. She didn’t know anything about that, and asked me questions about it.
We’ve been married 40 years already. I know when she’s just agreeing to make me shut up. I get that plenty! :-)
I share your concern in many states. I'm 99.9% certain the Ky Gov race was won with fraud in 2019. We elected a good Rep Sec of State, and he made many changes... for the positive.
We have photo ID in Ky, and limited early voting, and PAPER ballots. There are still issues in the city of Louisville. But, I'm feeling MORE confident now than in 2019.
A friend once said Republicans should ask Dems, if we concede to exceptions for only rape, incest, or the life of the mother l, would you democrats sign that bill? We know the answer would be no, but it would put them on the spot. 99% stopping of abortion is much better than 0%.
So a few days ago you posted you’d never forgive Beshear for the Covid lockdowns and today you say he wasn’t that awful and you could’ve voted for him?
I will never forgive him... but, I could have voted for him, if not for the Senator appointment. He's powerless, otherwise. He's a nice enough guy. Even Cameron said so in an ad.
It doesn't matter though... Cameron is losing, big time. In the end, the lack of moderation on abortion by our legislature, killed any chance we might have had.
If so, then Cameron doesn't deserve to win.
Cameron did say that in an ad despite Beshear running the most negative campaign against him I’ve ever seen in any campaign in my life, hammering him incessantly on abortion and saying he wanted sick children and the elderly to be thrown off their health insurance. I don’t get it!
