Pilots are not required to log every flight. If challenged by the FAA, you need to show proof of currency, such as the number of landings in the past 90 days, instrument approaches, night landings, etc. I don’t keep the names of passengers on my pilot logs, unless it’s notable, like “gave grandson first airplane ride”. Flight plans filed with the FAA show number of passengers, but not names of passengers. I am pretty sure Epstein’s flights were under FAR 91. If they were charter, under FAR 135, then the names of the passengers are recorded. But those records are only required to be kept for a short time. Would a company keep names of passengers for tax purposes? Of course.
