In an interview with the BBC, Israeli President Isaac Herzog revealed that Israeli security forces had discovered an Arabic copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf in a children's bedroom of a civilian home in northern Gaza that was being used as a terror base.
The civilian home included an explosives laboratory and represented further proof of Hamas’s terrorist activity in the heart of the civilian population in Gaza... that led to World War II. This book was found a few days ago in northern Gaza. In a child's room, which became a base used for terrorist activities by the terrorist organization Hamas. The terrorist wrote notes, marked the sections, and studied again and again, the ideology of Adolf Hitler to hate the Jews, to kill the Jews, to burn and slaughter Jews wherever they are. This is the real war we are facing.”
I get it, that’s bad, but honestly if you looked in my library you’d a few books that some disagree with.

For comparison, over 15,000 copies of Mein Kampf are sold in the US every year. I don’t doubt for a second that anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews is endemic in the Palestinian world. I do doubt that the rantings of some Austrian from the early part of the 20th century have much relevance for Palestinian kids in 2023 - anti-Semitism is a lot older than Hitler.
