I don't know much about Nikki Haley so I don't have an opinion about her one way or the other, but if you spend any time at all on social media such as Reddit or Facebook you know why she's saying this:
most of what you see online is fake (commonly referred to as "dead internet theory").
Bots post all kinds of liberal comments and downvote conservative posts on Reddit.
I've also seen fake accounts on FB that straight up steal real humans' posts and make an identical post in other groups.
