Countering China requires decisive action, not talk and flattery — Here’s how I’ll do it as president
The New York Post ^ | November 14, 2023 | Ron DeSantis

Posted on 11/15/2023 8:28:37 PM PST by TBP

As president, I will restore American strength on the world stage and focus our attention and resources on deterring Xi’s Chinese Communist Party — the greatest economic and security threat facing America today.

My goal is straightforward: We win, and they lose.

My treasury and commerce secretaries will focus on American interests, not Wall Street’s access to Chinese markets.

I will create an Office of Economic Security and Competition to prioritize reshoring and friendshoring critical production, protecting technologies and reducing reliance on adversaries.

I will defend American workers and innovators from illicit technology transfer and intellectual-property theft.

I will align capital with our interests, not the Chinese Communist Party’s.

I will protect our homeland.

As I did in Florida, I will bar Chinese purchases of farmland and property near critical infrastructure, counter espionage and cyber threats, block Chinese Communist Party influence in our institutions and through malicious data usage and apps and enact reciprocity policies so China cannot exploit our open society to our detriment.

Translation: Ron wants TPP back on the table. He voted to give Obama fast track authority for that treaty.

>> I will create an Office of Economic Security and Competition

WONDERFUL! Another damned eternal federal bureaucracy. What could go wrong? (Bend over and think “Department of Homeland Security”.)

So tell me, Bozo Ron, how many tens of thousands of permanent left-wing federal employees do you plan to hire to staff your new toy?

What an idiot RdS is.

That right there marks DeSantis as a traitor to MAGA.

Ron is still hammering away for us.

Sounds to me like Ron DeSantis is a closet Democrat:

2020 Democrats Have Plans to Add New Federal Agencies

They wanted to create departments for Peace, LGBT, Climate Conservation Corps., Foreign Interference, Clemency Commission, Children & Youth, Cybersecurity.

All which increase the beast known as the Leviathan, in order to tax you more.

Perhaps you meant to say:

Ron is still yammering away promoting himself.

Because that is all he is really doing.

None so blind as those who refuse to see.

YOu can’t even stick to your guns about Ukraine being a territorial war once your globalist backers dressed you down... forgive me if I don’t buy once you are in office you are going to stand up to the globalist who are funding you.

What a joke. I did a search on the word "tariff". It shows up 0 times. So Ron can't seem to even mention the most potent weapon in the arsenal of America first economic policy? Again what a joke.

No tariff == more globalist BS.

Tariffs are taxes. They harm American consumers. They make everything cost more. There are more effective ways of destroying China.

Tariffs are bad economic policy.

This is packed with so many falsehoods that I don’t even know where to begin rebutting it.

Jut about everything you posted is WRONG, but you’ve been gaslighted into believing it.

I’d simply declare China a terrorist state, with all the consequences that entails.

I’d band them from buying, selling, owning, maintaining, managing, or otherwise influencing any business, organization, institution, or other entity in the United States and vice versa.

I’d ban TikTok and every other Chinese-affiliated site.

I’d revoke Permanent Normal Trade Relations (AKA Most Favored Nation.)

I’d secure the border and declare any organization that works with China an enemy of the United States.

For starters.

They harm American consumers.

Tariffs are a consumption based tax, they are optional. Don't buy, don't pay. Income taxes are evil. Don't pay? GO TO JAIL.

Tariffs raise revenue on the backs of "consumers" supporting the economies of our enemy. Who better to pay taxes? Tariffs help claw back some of the lost wealth exported out of the USA.

PS: Tariffs also promote domestic industry.

PS2: True conservative love consumption based taxes.

So one’s only a “true conservative” if one agrees with you?

Tariffs are bad policy. They harm consumers. They take money from consumers’ wallets. The cost just gets passed along, and then competitors can charge more because they’re still competitive with the products and services subject to the tariff.

You've bought the globalist BS after 40 years of offshoring and economic destruction. There are no words adequate enough to describe how I loathe and despise Free Traitors™.

Tariffs now, then more tariffs. Our survival depends on it.

PS: We are nation of patriots not "conumers" i.e. insects.
