2024 GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie predicted former President Trump will be a convicted felon by spring 2024.
In an interview Thursday on CNN’s “The Lead” with Jake Tapper, Christie suggested America’s founding fathers would never had predicted a convicted felon could run for the presidency. If they had, Christie argued, they would have specifically banned felons from the presidency.
In a discussion about Trump’s top two GOP rivals — former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — Christie recalled a question posed by moderators in the first debate.

Christie is another guy who has no business being even involved in “public service”. He’s lazy and slovenly and has zero personality.
I predict Christie will be fat and still unemployed, for the remainder of his life where he will die a lonely fat man that no one even remembers.
In the Founding Fathers’ day, convicted felons had to be convicted of committing a felony. Being LABELED a “convicted felon” by their corrupt political opponents, “judges” and sleazy, slimy prosecutors in a lawless America wouldn’t have counted.

If you analysis it, you’ll see Donald Trump’s poll numbers raise each time they—the legal system—take an action against him. By early August 2022, DeSantis poll numbers were up there compared to Trump.

DeSantis received the thumbs-up from 71.01% of voters, while Trump received approval from 67.68% of those who answered the poll.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third, receiving 28.73% of the vote, and Dr. Ben Carson was fourth, with 24.15% of voters choosing Carson. Meanwhile, former Vice President Mike Pence received votes from only 14.36% of respondents, polling lower than Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

What happened to start Trump’s rise?

Every single legal act since, and there’s been plenty, has seen Trump go up several points in the polls.
If he gets convicted, I expect he get a YUGE jump from the majority of people who see through the attempt to railroad him.

Oh wait! He has done that so many times now that no one even notices. This comment by him is just one more in a long line of his buffoonery.
He’ll still be over 35, and a natural born citizen. Last I looked at the Constitution thingy, those were the qualifications needed to hold the Office of the President.
